I've looked over the women's bracket and there is a glaring lack of dominance. Some may say the bracket is wide open. I tend to believe it is Clijsters tournament to lose.

Clijsters is +350 to win a tournament that she has won twice before. Without Serena I can't lay money on anybody else. Just look at the top 12 women. Only Venus (7), Clijsters (2), Kuznetsova (2), and Schiavone (1) have won Grand Slams.

I am always enticed by the price on Elena Dementieva, but the fact is she has yet to win a Slam and has not even played in the final of a major since 2004. Jankovic has won just once in her last five matches following a retirement and the rest of these girls have yet to prove they can win when the lights are at their brightest. I'll take the proven "veteran" in Clijsters at such a tasty price at most Slams.

Clijsters +350 10 units to won 35

US Open: 7-8 +34.6 units

Still have my other future on the mens side pending in Djokovic at +1625 for 1.5 units. I will just sit back and hope for an entertaining final between these two.

1 set down for Rafi
hard to imagine him blowing it like Fed did
I think he will win his first Open today

what's incredible is then he gets on a plane tonight, flies to Texas, and makes his octagon debut against Attanito Wednesday. Dedication !

What a warrior this Nadal is

Yep. Speaking prematurely (after 1st set) the line did not weigh circumstances heavily enough. Nadal has been beaten, but he has never showed mental weakness, not that I've seen anyways. Djok and Federer have.

Its a damn shame Nadal didn't play Fed in this final....price would have been nifty on Rafi

What I don't understand about Federer, his decline (from #1 to number #2.2) does not seem to me to be a product of the usual losing-power, losing-speed, it's that he hits a lot more UEs than he used do. And he doesn't seem to be hitting these UE from a worse position on the court, which would be attributable to loss of quickness due to age. He just misses more, and I see no reason for it.

guy on another forum wrote this and I agree:

"what is crazy is that once they return the very first point they play is one of the most vital points of the match and will set up either break point or game point to put one of them a game away from the set. and if Djoker loses serve here it is all but over. will have to hope for a "garbage time" third set win from him but to me he is just as likely to get frustrated and fade."
