US Open Tennis August 24th to September 12th

the wind has fucked the entire tournament. wawrinka is about the same as he has been, youzhny seems lethargic or uninterested, sort of post-coital groggy. who knows. i think there's a spark there, but it better ignite soon or he and a lot of my money are gone.

my money too, but a nice break to start the 5th doesn't hurt our cause.

kickserve or others.......i found this thread extremely interesting about a canadian tennis coach who coached an average wta player for the last 3 years. to me it was very entertaining and enlightening. kick if you know, can you post the name of the chick if you bother reading it?

As for the stories....yep pretty much all true.

Also.....A great gig if you can travel the world coaching a chick. And yep almost all the coaches fuck the girls, WTA tries to hide this fact, but let me tell ya the chicks screw the coaches all the time.

Oh and if you fuck the girl you are coaching one of two things happen:

Ya marry her

or

Ya get fired :142smilie

thought this would be match of attrition. neither guy may have another chance like this to get into semis of grand slam. they aren't too flashy but they both have heart. went to the open many times in the 70's. saw tanner beat nastase 7-5 in the 5th when match ended at 130 in the morning. of course this was at forest hills.

Vanessa retired a long long time ago....she was a very nice girl. I played mixed doubles with her once, I was great friends with her coach. And you are right...great lefty serve. I thought she would have gone higher in the rankings.

Maybe if kegray coached her things would be different.:mj07:

I think "the coach" is intentionally lying with some of the stuff he says in order to throw off who he is. If he wants to coach on tour again, he doesn't want to be found out. So for that I don't blame him for trying to "throw me off". But I think I know who he is:SIB

I can't believe I am trying more tennis the way this has gone but here goes.

Venus/Clijsters ends in 3 sets +146 for 30 wins 43.80

Venus Williams in 3 sets +443 for 30 wins 132.90

Not sure Venus can take it in two and I don't really like Clijsters game right now.
If it makes it to 3 then I can sit back and relax knowing I can't lose on it.
