Nearly everything I play is at CaribSports and all my prop bets were played there. They only offer props on the four majors though. The only other book I use is ThePig and they only offer whole tournament matchups for golf.
I never had a problem with Carib and I've used it for a while. The one negative with both of the books is that they use a 30 cent line rather than the 20 cent line many others use. I tried another book or two that had 20 cent lines but never had the extra $ to refund the account when I lost it.
So what props were you looking at? Respect your opinion, so curious if you have any comments on any of mine above, both positive AND negative is appreciated. Actually off to a weak start as opposed to last week so need to turn the tide. Good luck to you.
Thanks Chip
Have never looked at Carib--will have to give them a peak. I don't mind 30 cent lines on props. Most fun I ever had betting golf was couple years ago when 2 books had scoring props plus birdies-girs etc every even--didn't last but one year unfortunately.
On the rd scor props I generally look at course set up and weather--Then I will either bet all overs @ -125 or less or pass. My premise is lots of things have to go right to score well in major but not much to go wrong to go over total. Have found for me it is best not to pick an choose what I think are strongest leans but take all of them.
This tourney was tough as weather was big ?
Nothing messes up props more canceled rds.
Also was undecided on how much change to graduated rough would come into play and as well as soft greens. Found out
I had same scor props as you and split also.
Won both with morning tees (tiger-paddy) and lost both pm tees (garcia-Mcilroy)
Was certainly liking chances till rd was suspended and pm tees got MUCH better conditions and scores next day.
On the finishing positions--again rairily bet an under--usually over or pass. The finishing # will usually dictate pass or play. One # a book had on several players 17.5. Took the over on all players with that total. Again on premise a lot of things have to go well vs only a few bad.
This table shows finishing poitions in Opens and it tells the story--however do tweak the total # with last 4 events to get clearer form.

Again for me--has always been best not to try to pick what I think are best plays but rather take all that fit criteria--and the more players you can get in equation--the better.
Just my 2 cents anyway
