lemme get this straight since i watched the game closely and missed a few things

Trojans coughed up 4 loogies

Beavs dropped a punt, i guess thats not turnover its something else entirely, which jumpstarted usc's comeback, w/o it i think we all agree this game isnt close at end

beavs missed 2 FGs (one after being on 3yd line) and didnt get shot for long possible clincher b/c of offsides ... and Serna won the Groza so for him to miss 2 fgs is prob "unlucky" for Beavs

beavs had 2nd and inches at GL where guy mightve even scored, then for some innane reason tried to pass and settled for a FG

Smith was clearly OB, never heard U-know-who try to denounce that, had it been reversed Melvin Belli woulda been on a USC retainer

and yes Beavs had a impudent punt return but does that mean all the huge PRs Reggie Bush ever had for USC didnt count, were tainted, were lucky, and not coached? what exactly is point of including a disclaimer for a special teams score when Beemer Univ. or Canes in heyday made a living off it and huge reason for their success? Don James, one of the best coaches i have ever seen, once told me to my face, there are 3 phases of a fball game: off/D/Spec. teams, at the UW I think if we can win the special teams, b/c we work extra hard on it, and split on the other two, we can be competitive in any game we play.

I dunno, I guess Im confused,

Then why are you in a thread about USC/Oregon St. game? I am dissecting the game. There is a reason a team wins. Could be multiple reasons.

The reason OSU won is quite obvious. 4 turnovers and special teams TD @home.

I am not a believer the better team always wins. If Ohio St. turns the ball over 10 times against Northwestern and loses, does that mean Northwestern is the better team?

If you can't come up with a solid argument to back up your opinion, don't bother interacting with me. You are wasting your time because you just give me the opportunity to feed my ego!

Hey dumba$$, check out the stats for the Texas / Texas Tech game

Texas 4 turnovers, allowed a pick 6

1 interception, 3 fumbles

On the road

Guess what, Texas won! LMAO

Boise State the best team in the country, come on now, I could possibly buy WVU, but Boise no way. Tressel against a first year head coach would be the ultimate mismatch.

:mj07:

You are comparing Texas @TT to USC @Oregon St.?

Texas had 4 turnovers on the road, just like USC had 4 turnovers on the road. However, TT had 2 turnovers while Oregon St. had ZERO turnovers.

Let me do the math for you. :banghead:

Texas -2 turnover ratio
USC -4 turnover ratio

-4 turnover ratio is a lot worse than -2 turnover ratio.

NO COMPARISON! Texas won by only 5pts with a -2 turnover ratio. USC lost by 2pts with a -4 turnover ratio and gave up special teams TD. No doubt Texas loses to TT if TT did not have 2 turnovers and if TT scored special teams TD. Think about it. Would Texas have beat TT if they were down 33-10 at the end of the 3rd quarter?

Too bad USC couldn't force 2 turnovers like Texas. Too bad Oregon St. played cleaner game than Texas Tech. Congrats to Texas for winning the game despite having 4 turnovers on the road. Most teams will lose if they cough up the ball 4 times on the road. Lucky for Texas, TT coughed it up twice themselves. That is why TT lost by 5pts.

Who feels like the DUMBA$$ now? ;)

the pasha of "supporting everything with facts and backing up my thoughts with indisputable truths" etc, doesnt respond to others when he is overwhelmed with counter viable data ... its b/c hes like most despots, you checkmate him he doesnt face the truth or look at other side b/c he's never wrong...

wonder if he still believes Larry Johnson will never be a good pro and was not even good in college ... seems a lil more productive than USC's million dollar Rbs from last year

Oregon State capitalized on four turnovers to upset the Trojans 33-31 on Saturday, snapping USC's 27-game Pac-10 winning streak and breaking the national championship race wide open.

USC (6-1, 4-1) had also won 18 straight road games. But the mighty Trojans had shown cracks in their last three games, each a victory by seven points or less.

Against the Beavers, they couldn't escape,

You are quoted as having me on your IGNORE LIST. So why are you attempting to interact with me? Better question is, why are you reading my posts? :nono:

If you want me to reply to your post above, let me know. :director:

Maybe I made the mistake and your last 2 posts were directed to someone else. No problem, you can't read this reply anyways because I am on your ignore list. ;)

I know why all of the bashers hate USC .Because they are gonna win more (maybe 2)NC's & at least 1 more Heisman before 2010 .

Enjoy it while you can. IMO USC won't lose another one this season.

Everyone get your bashing over with it & lets move on.

I think we have a thread in sports teams and fans that outlines why we all hate SC, and I dont think those were the reasons

Enjoy it while you can. IMO USC won't lose another one this season.

.

If only your opinion could help SC win games then maybe they might have a chance, but getting progressivly worse as the season goes on and then having the toughest stretch of games of any team in the country left...... GL

Any hat wagers on SC going unbeaten from here on in? Im willing to lay one that says they dont
