They had hour left of last level, so they decided to finish that and then take break.. Jack will call in report during break I imagine.
From what I see, he is holding is own so far...not getting involved in much. Hope he gets some cards!
His table is just one from the rail, but officials here much stickier with crowd control and don't allow us birds down side isles any more. But he is across from stands for feature table and I snuck back strutting with laptop bag looking like I own the place and grabbed a seat. I can get up occasionally and glance over how Jack is doing but can't watch every detail.

spoke to Nolan minute ago and he walked over and checked with Jack. He is upto $55k now!

I would say they have lost about 50-75 in the first hour, so maybe 1100 still alive.
With that many chips Jack SHOULD be very near the top 10%-20% of chip counts.

Only 30K more to reach his goal of 150K by the end of the day.
Hes in the money now i would imagine..If he plays conservative and gets some cards he will be playing the next day for sure..

With 10% of the field getting paid Jack will still have to bump up the chip count to make the money I think, but he's off to the best start he could hope for.
He's going deep, real deep, think back to the AJ vs AQ hand and how much trouble that AQ has been for him. He's still in his seat for a reason.
