Just an fyi, I finally tried this last year. Did it the entire season. It was profitable until.... August or early September. But it ended up down for the year.
And, this is going to sound weird... but it was profitable if you skipped Sundays. Sundays were consistently brutal.
The only tweak, that I read years ago, was that if the system gives you a dog, you double the bet. I don't remember if that aspect was profitable. I kept it all in a spreadsheet, but my computer shit the bed in December, and I haven't gotten around to trying to recover my files.
So GL, I'm planning on doing it again, but I'll skip Sundays and will look to slow down after the All-Star break.
