as i read more about this war,i get more and more apprehensive...
this may not be about terriroty, colonialism, russian citizens or any other garbage.....
very well could be about oil and natural gas.....the pipline going through georgia...
putin,old ex-kgb agent is a smart mofo... he figured it all out years ago.
- he nationalized the russian energy sector....
- started looking for oil in the arctic.
- flexed his muscle by reducing natural gas shipments to europe in recent winters...
- he`s built alliances with as many oil rich countries as possible - regardless of their ideology...
- he`s become the chairman of russuian energy giant "gazprom".......
putin could just shut off gas to most of europe and freeze thousands of europeans next winter?
what a weapon...while we here in the states fight over windmills and tire inflation,this m.f.`er is cornering the world`s energy market....and that weapon is much more powerful than any bomb...
it`s not east vs west ot the west vs the islmaists...it`s the energy producers vs the energy consumers....
and putin will be the head of the producer alliance....
if it ever comes to "us" vs "them" in an energy war,we`ll be thankful we have a toe-hold in iraq and have some sort of relationship with the saudis...
cause we obviously are going nowhere in producing ur own energy...
