"the bunker"
1-0 last week(steeler under)...

1)denver -3....cie grant made some excellent points on denver...banged up seattle team....denver`s offense actually played quite well last week....seattle`s improved...but not enough to be considered road warriors...denver bounce back....

2)oakland-3...just don`t see the rams and a rookie qb going into oakland and beating an improved raider club....line reflects an overreaction to week 1 results...

3)cincy+1.5...another overreaction to last week..k.c. wolf has a nice little write-up on this one....this week the ravens play a team with a qb and wideouts that can hurt them....and the ravens still really don`t have a great pass rush or secondary....back to back wins on the road and the second off a short week?....not easy.....if the ravens pull it off, look out,,,,

4)2- 10 pt teasers for fun.....small plays..

a).skins +13...jets +11.5.....cowboys +2.....

b)packers-3.5....falcons+3.5...bengals +11.5..

g.l. to all

adding a teaser...4 team 10 point...

dallas over 31/tenn.-pitt under 46/dall+2/g.b. -4...laying 1 to win 1.32....

small leans to the jets+3(-115)/skins+3(-120) and lions+7(-125)...very small...

"the bunker"
week 3(6-3-1 on the year)...

buying i/2 point with the ravens -10...(-115 brobury)..2x(a double play)....

just too much history here...we`ve handled cleveland of late....coming off an embarrassing loss last week...and coming home....

steelers 2-0 ...we already have one loss in the division to the bengals...and we`re going to pittsburgh next week...i don`t see a look ahead after last week...this is a division game...flacco gets well...

ravens have some minor injuries but all major contributors are probable at worst.....and big terrence cody may get his first playing time......along with ex-seattle corner josh wilson seeing his first significant time....

on the other hand, the browns have some key injury issues...

Quarterback Jake Delhomme (ankle) is doubtful after not practicing all week, meaning the Ravens will likely see mobile No. 2 quarterback Seneca Wallace.

As far as other starters, linebacker D?Qwell Jackson (chest) and wide receiver Brian Robiskie (hamstring) are doubtful. Top running back Jerome Harrison (thigh) is questionable and didn?t practice this week.

it just sets up too well...have to pull the trigger here....a big offensive game for the ravens wouldn`t shock me...theres just too much talent here this year...

if it somehow gets out of hand early, who will they bring in for flacco?...marc bulger, that`s who... the guy was basically amazing in training camp/pre season...he`ll look to make the most of his snaps given flacco`s struggle last week......he`s much better than anything the browns have(or the ravens, probably...lol)

g.l., guys..

"the bunker"
week 4..record to date 7-5-1.......

1(browns +3)....they impressed me last week....peyton hillis is a road grader.....and seneca wallace is dangerous....this team is playing hard and are on a 8-1 run vs the spread as a dog...

and something`s wrong with carson palmer...he looks like shit so far this season....i don`t mean just bad...he`s looked clueless ....

this line looks fishy low...i like that...

2(giants-4)....like the set up...big yardage differential last week vs tennessee....hard to believe g`ints actually lost the game...chicago off short week and emotional win vs rival.......2 or 3 ints expected for cutler...giants right the ship...

3)skins +6.....always like the skins as a road dog(especially divisional road dog)...eagles shot their wad last week vs hapless jags....dogfight(no pun intended)....taking the points...

ride along...or shag your own goat....dudes !!:grins:

week 4 continued....

4(rams+2)...(half unit).....so seattle`s a road warrior now?....actually laying points to an improved ram offense with some balance and some incentive with their new, good looking young qb?......

imo,i don`t think so....have to play the rams small...

:

GL on plays, dude. We are a couple of the same. I am concerned about NYG. From the outside, it seems Coughlin is being tuned out by players. Of course, situationally it looks great.

week 5...10-5-1(and 1-0 on half unit play)....

all one unit single plays(unless otherwise specified)......no write-ups...

1)frisco-3.....
2)square teaser...*bungles-1/2...ravens-1(brobury)......
3)tenn+7...(half unit)
4)buff +1...(half unit)

edit.....as the week progressed there were just too many injury ? involving teams that i was looking at as potential plays(indy/oakland)...

had to keep a half unit play on buffalo based on the situational set-up(o-fer..even though they are depth poor on defense this week due to injury issues)...

this looks like a very difficult week,imo...low profile...
