Yeah the Packers never play in cold weather. They will be out there in bear arms to my friend. The weather is a non factor.

not necessarly true..

have seen many a game turn into an absolute piece of shit at Soldier Field..

Let the conditions get horrible and Rogers and his passing attack will damn sure be more affected than that whatever the hell it is from the Bears.

If it turns into ground-chuck the Pack will be at a disadvantage...

To think otherwise is...

just a homer being a homer..

Both teams are from cold weather cities and they both have to play in the same conditions on Sunday. Advantage: no one.

simply not true..

GB offense was predicated on the pass all year long..

Have lived and died with it the entire season..

the running game sucked for nearly the entire regular season..

24th in league trying to run and 5th in the league throwing the ball..

a triple threat at the wideouts and a dependable tight end with a QB throwing lazer beams into their hands is this edition of GREEN BAY PACKER FOOTBALL.

any semblence to the days of Taylor and Horning w/Starr have been folklore along with the frozen tundrue[sp] for years..

This team[GB] is action quick..both on Defense and Offense..

a shitty Soldier turf w/winds howling is Chicago homefield advantage ...plain and simple..

Special teams might be the biggest advantage. Chicago already has the special teams advantage and I think that field and weather conditions make it bigger.

I disagree Old School and not a Packer or Bear fan....

You cant talk about running attack as if GM doesnt have one. They actually have found a running game. I dont think it is anything special...but much better than before. Throwing out earlier stats of the year doesnt mean anything now...

Yes, GB is a better passing team of course, but Rodgers can scramble, make plays with his feet and throw much better than Cutler.

For anyone to suggest GB is at a disadvantage is simply WRONG!! If anything, it may level playing field....literally....if the field is shit....but to suggest it favors CHI is a false statement.

How about we agree on this. Shitty weather helps the shittier team. Its an equalizer if nothing else that slows a game down. Green Bay in dome is favored by 7 here. Better athletes and more weapons.

One could argue that the bad turf could HELP the Packers... it will make it harder for the Chi D to get a good pass rush... also, since the receivers know where they are going, and the defender doesn't - it gives an advantage to the receiver.

:teknology

You know what he means BBC.....cut him some slack! :mj11:

Regarding the thread....the #1 advantage for CHI is the Bears know the Packers very VERY well. GB knows this field and what to expect. GB and CHI have ZERO problem in the cold. It's true about CB's covering routes, Peppers will have a harder time getting to the QB and crappier field will slow down speciail teams play. Both teams will game plan accordingly....I will take Pack coaching over L Smith any day!!

The key is who "EXECUTES" their game plan better, doesn't turn over the ball, adjusts better to what the team is doing and makes the big plays when it counts.

FACTS- GB is playing better football. CHI allowed SEA back in the game in the 4th quarter. CHI beat SEA and GB beat PHI and ATL. Cutler is more likely to turn the ball over than Rodgers. CHI running game is no better than GB right now. Both D's are great. CHI has better special teams.

From a gambling stand point....my action....no matter how big or small is on GB...the better team, a better coaching staff and a team playing their best football. Obviously any team can win on any given day, but I will place my wager on the hottest team in the NFL. Hats of to CHI if they win :0008

But I look forward to cashing my bet....:0071

Cant wait for tomorrow as both games are going to great to watch!! :0002 :0074 :00hour

So. Cal
exactly when was seattle in the game in the 4th quarter last week?

when it was 28-3?
maybe 35-10?

they scored 2 garbage td's in the last 3 mins.....the game was never in doubt and neither was the spread.

To be frank....I dont know what game you were watching GJN23 but the spread WAS 100% in jeopardy at the end of the game if SEA went for 2 on last TD as they should have.

I never said CHI was in jeopardy of loosing the game....but to allow SEA to score two TDS at the end of the game at home is one word....UNACCEPTABLE!! :nono: :nono: :nono:
