I really like this parlay, I think Cruz will be way too fast for Scott Jorgensen. As we have heard many times......speed kills. Jorgensen will just be too slow:0006

As for Pettis, he is a "live doggy" for sure:mj23: If he can handle the nerves I think he has a real shot at winning. The fact that the winner fights for the UFC title will make anyone nervous, but I think he'll be able to handle the nerves. If he can survive round 1 I think he wins the fight. Pettis is one explosive fighter and I think he'll catch Henderson and KO him.

1.25 units on Henderson

I'll say it here first. I think Henderson walks away from this mini tournament with the UFC Lightweight title. Pettis a tough fighter with good standup and is very active off his back but going with Henderson here

wtf is varner/roller doing on the undercard?......more varner-derangement-syndrome?....

that`s ridiculous...

?Champ Benson Henderson vs. Anthony Pettis (for lightweight title)
?Champ Dominick Cruz vs. Scott Jorgensen (for bantamweight title)
?Donald Cerrone vs. Chris Horodecki
PRELIMINARY CARD

?Bart Palaszewski vs. Kamal Shalorus
?Shane Roller vs. Jamie Varner

that`s a pretty sick card...

Wow, I don't think he does. I think Maynard will out wrestle him. I don't see anyone in the division stopping Maynard from putting them on their back. Hopefully I'm wrong because he could end up being a man humping champ and there are enough of them already. IMO Henderson has used his wrestling when he needed to and then his BJJ but against Maynard I don't see him using his wrestling to do any damage.

I could be totally wrong and Maynard may lose to Frankie. Of course I hope he doesn't because I'm going LARGE on Maynard.

I guess with two title fights they may be short for time. Cruz/ Jorgensen is almost certain going the distance and Henderson/Pettis at least in to the championship rounds.

Cerrone vs. Horodecki has to be on the main card. Varner is a former champ and Roller was one fight away from a title shot so that has to be the 4th fight on the main card - unless they go with 3 then try to squeeze the rest in depending on finishes.

Man this card is another solid one from the WEC. I will miss this promotion:0074

Anyone think with Cerrone's at times "wild" style the more accurate striker in Horodecki may connect?

granted Cerrone chin is like steel:0corn

The only thing that worries me about Menjivar is the break of 4 years. This is a good test. Pickett is a good fighter but cant bet this one

Agreed....Picket is no joke....but I do think the odds on the Canuck are too good to pass up. One thing is for sure, when you have fought the quality of competition Ivan Menjivar has, Picket won't scare ya.

not a jorgensen fan....i think he`s on par with damacio page and they`re both a rung below the best fighters in the division(of which cruz is one)...

barring a hail mary shot,i see cruz here...-210 isn`t outrageous...

heard a rumor, Pettis' flight got delayed a day, which shouldn't really matter but some food for thought. The big thing I heard is that Pettis is going to have to workout at the same gym as Henderson and Rick Roufus which Pettis camp is disgusted by since Duke and Rick don't really get along.
Have a friend that trains with them and thinks Pettis and Danny Downes are going to pull of the upsets. Obviously might be biased but knowledge on the board is always welcomed.

My thoughts on this card-

I love Henderson but I think Pettis has the unpredictable style to beat him at +165.

Cruz is too good for Jorgensen and is a steal at -200. Cruz just needs to be wary of the vise like guillotine choke that Jorgensen sometimes snatches.

Shalorus at -170 would be a steal if the dude would only use his world class wrestling.
He is another frustrating fucker to bet on.

Cerrone at -365 is still free money in this fight. I can't believe the odds opened at -290.
I like Chris but this is a bad match up for him.

Menjivar at +160 is worth a bet.
Menjivar was a beast at 155 and he was TINY for that weight division. 135 is a great weight for his size.
4 Years off is a big worry.

Good luck guys :toast: :toast:

Kick the only way Cerrone loses is if he comes in with an injury. Horodecki is a borderline stiff. This as easy as Daley vs S Smith but instead of a 1st round knockout this might be a two to three round beatdown.
