Texas Tech :thumb:

This one is real easy. Just look at the numbers. You can stick a fork in Texas A&M especially in Lubbock with Aggie pass defense #117 in nation giving up average 307 yds/gm and an astounding 8.3 yds/passing attempt. Maybe 2 units aren't enough as TT QB has 68% passing completion rate.

An added bonus.........

Texas Tech is 12-4 ATS in this series last 16 meetings
Home team in this series is 5-1 ATS
Texas A&M is 2-13 ATS away vs .500 > opponent
Texas A&M is 2-40 ATS when they lose straight up on the road
Texas A&M is 1-11 ATS in November road games since 1998

Go Red Raiders!

*Side note: I fawked up on this bet. Took TT -15.5 (betmill) when I could have had -15 -105 at Pinny. :banghead:

Don't normally post in your threads, but I actually like a couple of your plays and angles this week. We really differ though on the Wisky/PSU game, as I believe the play is Penn State. I've read and reread your thread this week, as I like your analysis on games, and I'd really like to know where you are coming from with some of your information on the Wisky/PSU game. Your statements are really inaccurate or simply wrong (as pointed out by Bucky1 - mainly dealing with your reporting that Wisky has been playing walk-ons when they clearly haven't). So I have to ask you, how do you know Bernstein is going to play?? There is not a single report on the web or on the radio or on TV that I can find to prove or disprove your statement. The best I can find is that he is 'questionable' and most reports say 'out indefinitly'. I'm really interested to know, because this is the kind of information this site thrives on, so I'd really hate for you to be giving out false information, especially because you are so proud of your word and reputation. Thanks.

Just found out I have accumulated over 50,000 loyalty pts at Betcris. I decided to use them up and add onto my Wisconsin wager. Wisconsin went from +10.5 to now +12. ML went from +325 to +400. I knew the $$$ would go on Penn St.

Adding 2 units Wisconson +12 over Penn St. (15 units total)

Good reminder to anyone who has an account at betcris to check out their loyalty program pts. You get free $$$ and free gifts. Great deal! Plus you get 20% free plays for each re-up. I knew about it months ago but completely forgot about it until tonight.

*I am taking a hard look at Ball St. +3 over Akron and Ball St. +135 ML.

I usually make an opinion on the USC game if I have one. I am 2-0 on USC last 2 weeks with USC 1h in both games. This weekend I did find a play I like. USC -7.5 1q over Stanford. If I knew USC would have chance at receiving opening kick I might make it big bet. USC always defers and opposing teams always take opening kick. Therefore, about 1% chance USC gets ball in 1h. Anyways, I still like the play. Stanford D is weak in the secondary and I have hunch Reggie Bush explodes this Sat. for big "quick" scores. I also have my doubts that Stanford is 100% mentally prepared for this game after what happened against UCLA. Last week against Washington St. USC lead 28-6 after 1q. I'll predict USC leads Stanford 14-3 after 1q. This bet EASILY covers if Stanford turns the ball over. USC plays really well @home and USC has not played too many home games this year. Therefore I see a lot of value in the 1q. Of course if USC doesn't score on their opening drive, this bet is prob. a LOSER! :) But also remember that USC does not kick FG's. Almost always 4 down territory inside the 50.

No offense bud, but if you are going to put $7,500 on a team, you might want to know how to spell their name right.

Maybe just maybe it was a typo? Or did I just luck out spelling Wisconsin correctly the 20 other times I mentioned them in this thread? Geesh. Isn't the o located next to the i...? Wasn't my post late at night? Errors do happen! Focus and appreciate the information being posted in this thread, not the spelling.

Scott, what do you know about Oregons back up Dixon ? Everything Iread about this kid gives me the feeling he will get it done today and I like the over. Not questioning your play, just trying to get a better grip on this one . Thanks.

I do know a lot of Duck fans think Dixon will have a great career at Oregon. That being said, he is very inexperienced but not completely inexperienced.

I find this game very interesting. How does a highly athletic, scrambling QB work in the Pac-10? I personally prefer traditional pocket passers, but athletic QB's have had some recent collegiate success.

Dixon is capable of some dynamic play on the football field, but the Bears are a desparate team. They have yet to win a game against a quality opponent and the Ducks are probably their last chance to do so.

The Bears have to be happy to have Clemens out of the ballgame (with him in, this game is probably not close), but Dixon is such an unknown, that they must be a little weary of the speedster.

Rain is expected and Cal has a very good running game, but Oregon is strongest against the run. That will be an interesting battle.

The difference in this game might be the 12th man @ Autzen. Very hostile environment.

I side with Oregon and it just so happens to be a Strong Sagarin play! :)

Good luck today Bryan!

Adding 4 units South Carolina ML +179 2h over Arkansas (pinny)

I don't feel very confident in Arky. But I am kicking myself for not buying it down to Arky -3, I have them -3.5. :cursin: Kansas is looking solid so don't want to risk losing 4 big units on Arky. Arky takes ball to 1 yard line at end of 2q and comes up with a FG. Enough is enough. But I still lose 4 units if Arky wins by 3! :(

Wisc going down big, glad BYU is kicking ass

Thanks for the update! :director:

That INT for Wisky killed any chances of me buying my bet back. I am having my 3rd monster Sat. in a row but will not show huge profit once again. I keep losing 1 big bet each week to hold me back. If Ball St. keeps their 13pt lead in 4th, I'll have won over 19 units so far this week. That will get wiped out with Wisky! :(

Still lots of game left and I got them +10.5!!!!!!

If Wisky covers today I might have a 35+ unit week!

GO BADGERS!

Scott..........take a look at how many rushing yards Wisconsin has given up the in the last 4 weeks........almost scary.......giving up the amounts of rushing yards to below average rushing teams like Illinois and Northwestern. These are the same Badgers of the past who were always very stout vs the run.

If this game goes as I think the Nittany Lions will have the ball all day while the Wisconsin offense will be on the sidelines. I believe Ohio State has better offensive talent than Wisconsin and they were barely able to dent the scoreboard vs PSU.........

IMO Wisky was very fortunate to beat Mich, Purdue and Minnesota was a downright gift handed to them while PSU is one flukey play from being undefeated.........

Anyhow good luck........

Total Rushing Yards
Wisconsin -10
Penn State 284......6 yards per rush avg.....

I chickened out and passed on PSU when the line went up so high but I knew the Wisky defense was bad.......

What happened to these so called injured players who would make a difference?????

Sorry you lost your big play Scott. Never wish a loss on anyone.

I just gotta say Matt Bernstein sure played a helluva game though. Really appreciate your response to my post regarding your sources for that info.

Your silence on the matter helped me understand the truth behind what you were saying.

It is total BS that you posted that false/incorrect info. I hope you take responsibility for that since you are so adament on people taking responsibility for what they post and say on this forum.

Good luck on the rest of your plays and season.
