Didn't see them ever kicking that meaningless fg. The late fumble was a killer. It was a bad beat, but Im sure I'll see worse long after most of the new kids in here have quit betting the allowance.

Clem,

I guess I'm one of the "new kids" that's betting his "allowance"... so I just wanted to respond and say that my initial post was not meant to be a slam on you or your pick. I was simply noting that West Va. looked like crap and, in my opinion, it looked like they didn't show up mentally or physically.

Having said that, when you throw out a "rookie" jab like you did before the game was even over (which is rather ironic because you were complaining about others jumping the gun when West Va. was playing poorly in the first half) you should know it's going to come back to bite you in the ass if they don't cover. Maybe I jumped the gun... fair enough... but what you did was the exact same, along with an added insult thrown in.

But what do I know, I'm just a rookie kid betting my allowance. Even though I didn't have any money on this game either way...

Quagmire it wasn't meant for you. If you took it that way sorry. I can't stand when people come into other peoples threads and either root against them or proclaim them a loser at halftime. In tthis case I had people doing both.

Anyway this was a bad loss that should never have happened

No worries Clem. I apologize for getting defensive there and I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions like that. And you're right, that was a very tough beat. Sorry for your loss. That should have been a winner for sure.

ignore them clem...some of us value your insight and your track record. dont let a few bad apples ruin this site....as it seems many are trying. was a tough beat, which none of us can help, and we will all see in our time. We can help by ignoring those who chose to trash another guys thread. Glad to have you back man and hope to see you posting for a long while. Good luck on the rest of the season.

We can't win them all...a one point loss always stings a little...a slow start will get you every time laying the big chalk...and how bout them Rutgers!...I can't believe they were getting 3 by game time....should have layed a little on the ML...

Hell, I got the same pounding last week when
the Browns kicked that worthless POS FG with
seconds left to knock me out. Shit happens, I
didn't lose any sleep over it and I'll wager that
Clem won't either. Let's kick some ass tomorrow

Although I am not betting my allowance I do believe I owe you an apology Clem. I obviously jumped the gun. Although they didn't cover (bullshit fumble/fg like you said) I teased it, so I got lucky. I respect your capping and will continue to "hit" your posts every week. Thanks for your hard work.

Pretty funny you jumping into this thread considering you have no idea what happened. Why should that get in the way though right? But it's good to see your still posting constructive things like this Scott. Congrats.

I wonder though... don't you have a moneyline play to hype the hell out of. Maybe something real daring like the Broncos -14. Then you could dig up articles from the Net or maybe the Denver Post and post them to somehow make your play look stronger. Oh, and don't forget the big, bold print. :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

I know what you did. Your just too stupid to know.

You were a pric in the past and nothing has changed. Go back to your USC picks.

Yeah, and you have a great reputation and everyone on this board loves you right? Pretty funny you choose to attack me considering I've never said anything malicious to you.

Oh and here's a thought... if you're going to try and insult someone's intelligence, don't make yourself look dumb by not even being able to spell the sentence correctly. It's actually "you're." See, it's a combination of "you" and "are." And it's "prick," not pric. Nice try though.

I'm still waiting for your next moneyline play too. I'm REALLY hoping you use the 42 font. I'll really know to load up then!

And USC picks? When was the last time I bet on the Trojans?
