I know two persons that have tested positive for the virus. Both were working in hospital.

They got flu like symptoms and were tested +week ago, both feeling ok and staying at home, no need for further care. So, even if you get infected it doesn't mean you die. Just don't spread virus around.

They will be tested again after 14 days quarantine is completed. Plan is to stay at home week after negative test.

Coronavirus' death rate found to be lower than World Health Organization estimates

https://uk.style.yahoo.com/coronavirus-covid19-death-rate-140843529.html

To learn more, scientists from The University of Hong Kong looked at the 48,557 confirmed cases that had arisen as of 29 February in the Chinese city Wuhan, where the outbreak emerged.

They found the average death rate among patients under 30 was 0.3%, rising to 0.5% for those between 30 and 59, and 2.6% for people aged 60 or above.

Overall, they calculated the fatality rate to be 1.4%

It would suck if you you were infected, but thankfully odds are real low that you will die from it.

I have seen several interviews with people who have recovered but are still in quarantine.

I know two people who have have it.

You don't want to believe this thats fine, just stay away from people.

Oh,I am. Just an observation. Another observation. Did anyone have flu in late January or early
feb? I did, as some friends.Had all the symptoms. Some went to doctors and were told they had the flu. No testing and sent home. Just wondering with the asymptomatic aspect of this spreading, if this stuff has been around undetected for longer than the experts think. This stuff went from cough to wheezing to draining my energy like no flu before.

Not sure you can trust everything the WHO reports. On 1/15 they tweeted that reports from China showed it could not be spread by humans.

The media isn't working against this president, it's reporting on his incompetence. Although, I suppose reporting facts IS not working out in the president's favor so I guess you have a point.

Media { ABC, Newsweek and Politico} today is reporting that 55 percent of Americans approve of the way Trump is handling the Chinese Virus.

So?

Here's a novel idea: Take this virus seriously!

Get the testing in place. Get the ventilators and related equipment in place.

Trump's getting blamed for his early action/inaction and it is 100% warranted.

If a country lies about what they are reporting, nothing any organization can do about it. If a doctor in Tanzania says two people died from the virus, you have to believe him or her.

And by the way your "On 1/15 they tweeted that reports from China showed it could not be spread by humans" is complete bullshit.....

The W.H.O never said that, they were reporting that some in China were saying that.

Your post above might require you to suck a bag of dicks, just warning you in advance.

I have ordered the bag of dicks from Amazon. I'll start sucking upon arrival.

I was just about to come on here and give Trump credit for the daily news conferences. It's important, and I know how hard it must be to stand up there and take those questions. THEN, he starts blaming the past administration. He just can't help himself.

The early incompetent response isn't a surprise. Read the Michael Lewis (Moneyball) book 'The Fifth Risk'. It doesn't cover the CDC, but it should scare you.

I was watching with some friends too, and actually felt the same. (Except for sucking the dicks)

Then, he gets asked a straight forward question about the public being scared, and loses his shit.

He is a deplorable human being, and an unfit leader.

Every day. EVERY. FUCKING. DAY. He contradicts what his experts say, and they have to go back to the mic and say, "wait a minute here....."

"Brownie, you're doing a helluva job."

Yup, not so good? But can you imagine Joe Biden dealing with this?

I can't. I could only hope he would listen to the people hired to have the answers.

Off topic, but we need to quit hiring Presidents who we dont even want driving a car!
