Scott, you should really take Bowling Green off that list. If they were in the Pac 10, they'd easily be the second best team behind your boys. Just because they're in the MAC doesn't mean they are a pushover. That is a legit squad.

The BCS formula really needs to factor in pathetic wins.

Looking at OSU's record they would lose big points for such crappy wins as:

16-13 over the mighty Aztecs of San Diego St.(at home);

44-38 over N.C. St, (again at home);

24-17 over Bowling Green, (did I mention at home?);

21-20 at Penn St. (well they played one on the road).

These guys have played a remarkable number of games at home and have been living with a shamrock up their butts. If they win out and pass us on the computers, there will be a mighty uproar and the BCS will be effectivly dead. What a travesty.

Lets look at some of USC's "quality" games :rolleyes:

Brigham Young W 35-18
Hawaii W 61-32
California L 31-34
Arizona State W 37-17
Stanford W 44-21
Notre Dame W 45-14
Washington W 43-23

Look at that big L, to a team with 5 LOSSES! What a freaking joke.

I agree with you.

What is scary in all those games for USC (except BYU & CAL), USC put reserves in the 4th and that was when other teams scored and USC stopped scoring.

Ohio St. def. has chance to jump USC. It will be hard but they can. USC needs WSU to win out (def. can happen) and finish in the top 10 BCS. That would give USC bonus pts.

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They lost to a so so team & play in a weak conference compared to the others. The Pac 10 is the weakest conference in the BCS period!

I think OSU makes it IF they win out. USC fans have nothing to fear, Ohio State will lose to Michigan. Then again, I nearly gauranteed a victory for Louisville over TCU to all my freinds, shows you what I know!:D

Okie -10' at Carib

Okie -10' at Carib

Okie -10' versus whomever assuming they play championship game....barring injury to White, this looks like good early bet..

Hell,

USC already lost to one terrible team, what makes us all think they won't lose to another. They have 3 chances to lose to a terrible team in the coming weeks!!

You obviously do not follow USC football. USC lost Heisman QB, all their backfield, and top defensive player on the team and both leaders. USC is a very very young team led by a soph. qb with ZERO game experience coming into this year. Cal is not a sorry team, and they played great against USC @ CAL and USC played awful. Game still went to triple OT and was made an ESPN INSTANT CLASSIC. This was not suppose to be a USC NC run year, next 2 years are. Pete Carroll and staff have done an amazing job and they are tops in the business.

USC is much different team now and scary thing is getting better each week. No doubt in my mind USC is the #2 team in the nation and would give OU all they could handle.

Side notes:

Pete Carroll has never lost in November while coaching at USC.

USC has won 24 of their last 28 games! :eek:

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!

scott can you please just shut up about espn classic and soc for usc; name one please respond to this one impressive win that usc has and dont mention auburn they have 5 count them 5 losses and dont mention wash state they lost to nd for christ sake; they have 0 impressive wins they have played absolutely nooone and you said that cal is not a sorry team; they have 5 count them again 5 losses and they are in one of the worst conferences in college football how many losses do you have to have to be sorry; i just read an article by palms the guy that predicts the bcs and since usc does not play anyone the rest of the season; as long as lsu wins out or ohio state wins out they will pass usc due to the fact usc sos will drop and lsu and ohio state will rise; lsu in best position due to they are number 3 and please do not say ohio state has no chance because they do especially if they beat michigan; now will they beat michigan; i doubt it will lsu win out; doubt it but if they do; usc is on the outside looking in; if you do respond to this just tell me one thing; give me one team that usc has beaten this would be considered an impressive win; i also read an article in espn about how they thought wsu gave the game away and the final score was not indictitive of the way it was played which i agree also

Ohio St. and LSU have better competition on their remaining games than USC. Unfortunately for USC, their schedule looked a lot tougher on paper in the beginning of the year than how it turned out. Despite that, USC SOS is tough but OSU has a tougher schedule and I am not sure about LSU. I do know LSU has not played a tough schedule up to this point in the season.

Ohio St. is the real threat to jump USC because of their SOS and COMPUTER POLLS. USC is ahead in human polls. USC might get quality win points if WSU wins out and finishes in top 10 BCS. Ohio St. will not beat a team ranked in the final top 10 BCS. It will be very close with USC and OSU, and i prob. have to give OSU the edge if they win out. However i do not think they can, and I bet $500 on Purdue +3.5 over OSU.

Pac 10 is a lot tougher than people give it credit for. Take a look on who the pac 10 plays for OOC games throughout the years. Look at the results. Not only do pac 10 teams play tougher OOC opponents than other conferences, they also do fairly well too.

LSU i do not "think" can pass USC if they win out. Ohio St. i think they can pass USC if they win out and are #3 in both polls.

Now i agree with the human polls. USC clearly is the 2nd best team in the nation. LSU and Ohio St. are not in USC league. USC can beat OU, LSU small chance, Ohio St. can't (unless they get 5 turnovers and best player on OU gets injured and blown calls by refs). That is my opinion.

We will see how good LSU is because so far this year they have not impressed me at all. Against Georgia (quality opponent), they got totally out-played. Georgia clearly was the better team on the field and Georgia beat themselves. I watched the whole game. LSU SOS at this point is not good at all, but that will change in next 3 weeks in where their SOS will get better.

Ohio St. also has not impressed me at all to be considered #2 in the country. Beating PURDUE and MICHIGAN will impress me, especially if they beat them soundly.

USC plays Arizona (bad team), UCLA (average team with good talent), Oregon St. (average/good team with good talent)

USC blew WSU out, so WSU did not give game away. USC played backups in 4th quarter, so not sure how you could give game away when playing reserves and going vanilla in the 4th.

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you are such a dipS#%t; why dont you respond to me and give me one impressive win that usc has; the answer is none; absolutely zip; ohio state has not impressed me at all but they do play in the big 10 where you do have quality teams; who cares what your non conf schedule is in the sec or big 10 or big xii; if you win out especially in the sec and big xii when there is a champ game; the only thing you have to compare is the loss you take; usc lost to a freakin 5 loss pac 10 team; that loss if flat out embarrassing; usc was lucky to get in the 1st ot; i watched the entire game; lsu lost to the hottest team in that nation in florida who can still win the sec; plus they play in the sec which is the best conference in the nation; just shut up homer everyone in mj thinks you are an idiot

Not saying it we could do it, but I would relish the opportunity. We have absolutely nothing to lose and we are a completely different team at this point.

It is not totally inconceivable that we get there either.

Ohio State loses to Purdue or at Michigan.

U$C loses to at UCLA or Oregon State.

LSU will lose one of their remaining games.

Horns beat Tech at home and at Aggies.

See you in New Orleans dirt burglars.
