Brady played one drive in the third quarter and hes running up the score lol.
Manning stayed in against the titans until he got 300 yards (up by three td late in the fourth qtr last week) but thats ok..
There is a HUGE difference between being up 21 in the 4th quarter, and being up 52 or 59 in the 3rd. I've never heard of anyone coming back from a 59-point deficit in the 3rd quarter. Not saying it's never happened, but that would be a miraculous comeback.
Being down 21 in the 4th is a different story. There are teams that have come back from that deficit and won. Just a few years ago, the Seahawks were up 21 on the Rams with 7 or 8 to go in the game, and they lost. So it's not unheard of. Not saying Peyton should have been in or not beein in, but those are two totally different scenarios to me.
People have a problem with the starters being in the game because the only reason Belichick did it was to be a prick. The game was over at halftime. Everyone knew it. But he wanted to make a point because he was still smarting from the Denver loss last week.
People say it's Tennessee's fault for not being able to stop them. Well, maybe. But that's like saying if I purposely take a QB out at the knees it's his fault for not seeing it coming. There is such a thing as sportsmanship, even at the professional level. That's something Belichick just doesn't understand, and that's why people hate him.
