Question guys...I took Guilbus for $50 at 100-1 odds before Wimbledon started...do I start taking other side or do you feel confident tomorrow and the next rounds. I would love to let it ride but at some pt lock in some cash.

I never hedge...as I always say....if you bet it....stick with it. Why else would you have placed the bet in the 1st place:shrug:

My 2 cents.

I never hedge in any other sport...never bet tennis and was hoping to get lucky so put play in. Now that hes gotten this far and a few upsets have taken place, I, just wanted to hear some thoughts. Thanks Kick...appreciate it. Dont disagrre with you. Maybe Murray can stumble as well

The thing is u took him at 100-1 and right now he's at 160-1 on bf.

And dont listen to kick. Had u taken him at let's say 160-1 of course u wanna lay him once he gets to semis and his price is around 20ish to 1.

Gulbis is 155:1 right now. He was never worse than 750:1 before the tournament started.

He's not winning Wimbledon and I'm his number 1 kool-aid drinker....

First he has to get to Murray....then you can consider it....he would be around + 550 to + 600 against Murray is my guess and no matter how much I like to think he could win he doesn't stand a great shot against Murray....you can put 1200 on Murray and make a 150 profit or cut your odds to 76-1 and go from there if he gets that far and luckboxed against Murray...

You got really bad odds which makes it difficult to do too much

Maybe relevant here: The same four players have won every major and Olympic gold medal except one13 in the past eight years. That's 34 big titles for Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, and Andy Murray, and one for every other tennis player on earth.

There's your depth, Canadian.

Nadal (and others) would have been fucked if the surfaces were like they used to be.

Now Nadal (and others) get almost the entire season on slow courts.

So unfair.

And total bullshit.

Well I agree at least one of the slams should be pure power/speed tennis. There should be LESS homogeneity, not more. So that it's harder for one type of player to dominate.

Seems to me, just visually, shots that used to go through the court for winners are much harder to produce than they used to be. And that has to be due to the balls and surface.

You aren't quite grasping what depth means.

Depth is the entire tour.

Find me one person in any Tennis Federation, Find me one coach, find me one player, find me one agent, find me one person at the ITF, find me one person that agrees with you. In fact I told a guy that coached at ATP Tour and a former player what you said and they could not stop laughing. I would pay you snoopol money if I could see you walk into any press conference and say women's depth is the same as the men. The laughter would never stop. You really have no idea what the hell you are talking about. You really don't.

In fact find me one girl in the Top 1000 that thinks the women are anywhere close in depth. Find me one.

You are so far off. You really are. Again find me one.

Yes one person that thinks the depths in the women's game is anywhere close to the men.

You'd get laughed at if you spoke any of this out loud.

You have no idea what the fuck you are talking about.

The depth in the women's game is fucking awful and is not on the same planet as the men.

The women's tour is a complete joke when it comes to depth.

For fucks sake even the CEO of the WTA Tour thinks your are on crack. Even she said the depth of both tours isn't even close. The fucking CEO of the WTA Tour thinks your nuts.

You can play an entire season on clay if you want to. You can play 41 straight weeks on clay if you really wanted.

Not so on indoor carpet or grass.

can we get this thread back on track

why can a guy like gulbis dominate on all surfaces. if gulbis played in the 90's and early 2000's people would go Pete who?

him and agassi would have dominated the world

agree with most of your opinions, but man watching pete sampras play was awful
