This is my opinion only ,but always wiiling to help out another fellow tennis player.Always risk the same amount.I have read many books on the subject, and there are many opinions but,if you vary your bets the only ones that will be important will be your large ones and you might as well not even play the small ones.
By saying bet amount you want to risk, risk 100 on a underdog of +150 to win 150 and 100 on a favorite of -150 to win 66.6.
The only time I might change would be to bet a 1/2 unit on a 200/1 to win a post up.

Hope this helps.

Hey, that's a flat-betting! I'm using it now, and i've heard a lotm that this is not optimal system to bet, it just shows, whether or not you are succesfull gambler! That's all!

OK, what do we have for tomorrow???

Cleman - Lapenti: Don't know, good trend on Cleman, but awfull biorhitmes... Pass.

Arthurs - Nalbandyan: The same thing, Arthurs is very bad, according to bio's, and trend is pretty low. It seems like guys with low bio's never break handicap, so, i'd take Nalbandyan (+4.5) @ 1.83

Shalken - Vacek: PICKOFTHEDAY! It could be, if it was 1.4 on Schalken, not 1.2 :( I dunno, whether to take 3-0 @ 2 (but i don't like this), or, maybe, U(36.5)??? Handicap (-6) is quite large to stake on it...
BTW, Ordina Open 2002:
Sjeng Schalken - Jan Vacek 6-4 6-2

Any ideas???

Hewitt - Youzhniy: Be carefull! Equal players, so anything might happen!!! 1.2 on Hewitt is EXTREMELY!!! low!!! Youzhniy - value bet, but i won't take it... Youzhniy(+6) @ 1.9 - OK, but not perfect... My bookie offers 1set betting, defenitly very good bet - 2(+2.5) @ 1.53!!! But again, i won't play this match.

Sa - Lopez F: I dont really care. Maybe Sa.

Henman - Kratochvil: Same thing like with Hewitt, but only one difference - Henman's biorhitmes are -100!!! lowest of ever possible !!! Guys with bio's U(-90) rarely win at all, and NEVER break handicap! Kratochvil (+6.5) @ 1.72 - GREAT!!! Kratochvil @ 4 - good-looking!

Philippousis - Kraijchek: I don't really care. Anyone can win.

Rusedski - Malisse: I don't really care. Anyone can win.

Got:
Arthurs - Nalbandyan: 2(+4.5) @ 1.83
Henman - Kratochvil: 2(+6.5) @ 1.72 (2 units)
Henman - Kratochvil: 2 @ 4

that's all!
GL with your bets!

I'l try :)
That's quite simply:

biorhythm (bie'oh rith uhm) n.
1. an innate periodicity in an organism's physiological processes, as sleep and wake cycles.

That's it!
They aren't so important as trend or player's weak sides, but they help to improve percentage by about 5-7% (from 67% -> 74%)

Chucky, I take your point!
I also don't believe in this stuff, but one man, whose opinion i respect, suggest me to try bio's! And i've succeed! I think, that all methods are goodm if they are profitable, even Taro or Moon phases :):):)

ok......Week 2 about to start.........here's where I'm at:

Record now stands at ............................31 wins 14 losses
Record for plays rated above a 7............5 wins 2 losses
Guns blazin' picks....................................2 wins 1 loss

Now.......here's July 1st (Canada Day by the way!!!!) picks

Lapentti to beat Clement at $2.62

Schalken to beat Vacek at $1.22 (Guns Blaz pick)

Arthurs to beat Nalbandian at $1.36 (Guns Blaz pick)

Likhovtseva to beat Maleeva at $2.00

Lopez to beat Sa at $1.83

Raymond to beat V Williams at $6.50

Henin to beat Dementieva at $1.40

Hantuchova to beat Dokic at $2.37

Henman to beat Kratochvil at $1.16

Rubin to beat S Williams at $4.00

Krajicek to beat Philippoussis at $2.25

Capriati to beat Daniilidou at $1.22 (Guns Blaz pick)

Rusedski to beat Malisse at $1.40

as you can see......lots of action on July 1st.....hey it's Canada Day...no matter what happens it will be a good day!

and remember.....I've got three guns a blazin' picks firing: dance2 :bigun:

Here's notes on some of my plays:

Lapentti-love the value on this one.......he fights like hell and can play on the grass.....price just tooooooooo good to pass up

Schalken-has been playing forever and this is farthest he's gone in Grand Slam and he can't ask for a better draw.........he's returning like a god and is very very confident (has only lost one set, this boy is going to make the QF's!

Arthurs-ok he's held serve 52 straight times......what more can I say.............ok one more thing Nalbandian is lucky to be in Rd of 16's, Arthurs isn't...........put that together and you got Arthurs in the QF's!

Lopez-This guy is just living on the edge and he's just got something on his side.......yes he's played 700 hours of tennis (ok not that much but close!) but the two days off will help him.....the guy is just oozing confidence and $1.83 is a great price for him....I'd say it's the value of the tourney thus far........I think he'll win in 3 or 4 sets.......if it does go 5....no worries......he's already won 11-9 and 10-8 in the fifth!!

Krajicek-this is one of those "value" picks meaning $2.25 is just too good to pass up........so I made a small play on him.....although I am worried Philippoussis will exploit Krajicek's backhand........on the other hand, never count out Krajicek he is an ex champ! (and if Krajicek was fully healthy the odds would be reversed!).....all this being said still worth a small play on the big man!

so............good luck to all

(special shout out to the baseball guys that have helped me! )

Just wonder, what is Canada Day???
Something like Independence Day in US, or Konstitution Day in Russia?

60 SEC ASSASSIN

Some notes from Anders' tennis guru...

Schalken has only dropped one set here with wins against Pless, Chang, Morrison and Vacek to take his record to 12-1 on the grass in the last four weeks. His only loss was to Hewitt in the semi of Queens and he also lost to the Aussie at the French Open, taking a set off him, but also losing two set 6-1. Comments from Schalken regarding his game plan and attempt to turn the tables on Hewitt are of some concern. "I don't have my tactics yet against him. I play two times a little different, but I have to think about that. Obviously, I am not storming to the net against him, because my volleys are not good enough. But I think you are going to see a lot of baseline rallies. But, yeah, I tried to play in Queen's like that, but he still beat me. He was the better player, so I don't know. I'll see how it works in the quarterfinals in two days.", he said. Hewitt has been in devastating form here - straight sets wins over Bjorkman, Carraz, Knowle and Youzhny - completing an 11-1 record on the turf this month - second only to Schalken. The price does look a little prohibitive, but I can't be taking a guy who sounds beaten before he hits the court.

I'd listen to him....He is a very good judge ;)

Hope this helps
