Spain must have had a half dozen scoring chances but couldn’t convert. Spain and Japan players never tried kicking the penalty kicks down the middle or high to the corners. Morocco deserved to win.

Spain penalties were dreadful..

they looked scared the first two takers I saw the look on their face, and called miss. It is unreal pressure, some of the biggest in all of sports, the entire world watching, and its just the player by himself on an island waiting to go. I get nervous watching that I could not imagine what it would be like to stare that down in real life with 90,000 people losing their minds.

Yep. Unless you’re in that situation one can’t comprehend the magnitude of it . So much pressure. Entire country on your back

wow Santos looks like a genious, he has so many random fans wondering wtf he was thinking benching Ronaldo. Than the kid he subs in with 33 minutes of International experience gets a hat trick, can't make this up.

Croats have to defend for their lives, hope to get the bounces, and take this game to penalties. I see no other path forward for them. They just played 120 minutes and won an emotional game vs Japan, and now have to play a Brazilian team who rested up for Cameroon, and had a walk on the beach vs Korea. If brazil gets an early one and forces Croatia out of their shell it could get ugly.

Agreed. I stayed Away for these reasons . I’ll see what lines at halftime say

we were setting up the road forward for a Brazil/Argentina super showdown. Now Brazil has to get their shit back together and go to kicks, my gosh.

The house just cleaned up big time, so many busted up parlays, and futures just got eliminated.
