They play brave that is for sure. They are absorbing pressure and striking with a lethal counter, getting into lots of space in the final 3rd. The defending looks a bit erratic but that is how Japan plays, live by the sword die by the sword.

croatia didn't score when they had chances and japan did. croatia was sloppy and played slow. japan was as good as i thought they are.

If Brazil manages to get past Korea i think They’d rather play Croatia? Japan as we saw against Spain and Germany don’t need the ball and are happy to sit back. Japan would be more frustrating . Just my opinion

Japan just went from +110 at end of ET to -120 at start of PKs. Just an fyi - at this point just rooting for Japan cause I think there’s money to be made in next round with them
