"the bunker"
it`s wacky...i`m lucky enough to have a very flexible work schedule...and the last thing i ever thought i`d become interested in was soccer...

but i actually miss having a game on in the morning when i have to leave...and during the day when i get home....

i think it beats baseball all to hell...and the british and scottish announcers?...i love em...they`re very, very enjoyable to listen to....so much better and more mature than those metrosexuals on sportscenter or on sports talk shows....

they`re clever,smart...adult....

i`m gonna miss the world cup when it`s over....

go figure...

yeah, it is great. the very best thing about it? no commercial interruptions. and over in under two hours 99% of the time.

I'd always been just a world cup fan until I was informed that the best clubs are as good as the best nations. If you like this kind of football, then Champions League is great, on during the middle of the day and in the middle of February and March. All you need is Fox Soccer Channel.

ESPN2 will also be showing some great English Premier League games this year and that's my favorite league - dives are frowned upon, atmosphere fantastic and not a lot of "gamesmanship" . . . .and sometimes they chant USA! USA! USA! as a compliment, however most of the time they're insulting American ownership

Spain to win Cup -175 x1

It will have been a productive tourney for me either way, but I would love to see Spain win this thing.
