Bryan, I think you generalize about pot smokers based on who you've been around. I'm mainly around professional people on a daily basis. I know a good number of them that smoke regularly. The difference is when and how much people smoke. Most people I know treat it much like a glass of wine. They get home from the office, take one or two puffs which relaxes them but in no way stops them from leading an absolutely normal life. They don't smoke a whole blunt and get so stoned they can't move. If I was around people that where like that I might have your opinion of pot smokers.

I'm pro pot but I can tell you that if I ever had anyone work for me that showed up for work stoned they would be fired. And the same would happen if they showed up drunk or fell asleep at work or took too many breaks to smoke cigs etc.

Hell yea that is exactly what I am saying. That is just as plausible as saying it makes you dumber or stupid to the nth degree. Anything that allows the mind to be expanded in any way can be a positive if looked at in the right light. If one is more open to new ideas and fresh optimism simply because they have left some inhibitions behind because they are high, then yes I would say it has improved their mind. If one is close minded and gets high and remains the same only high now and acting an ass, the I guess that speaks for itself. That is what I think, notice I didn't include a country with my opinion though.
