Global inflation (that Trump's first term actions contributed to), helped him win in 2024. The "big tent" is a figment of your imagination. He won by just over 2m votes and didn't get 50% of the votes thanks to a voting base that blamed the wrong guy. With that huge tailwind, the guy geeked out the win. Now, we get to watch him fail again......and then somehow find a way to blame everyone else again.
