12:30am... Featured Table update: More Hellmuthian hijinks! Phil made a huge laydown. He had A-K and flop trips on a flop of A-A-4. His opponent had a full house with A-4 and Phil shouted out to his wife, "Honey, I should have gone broke on that hand!" Then he stood up and pointed at the guy with the full house, "I bethca didn't know. I can dodge bullets, baby!"

1:05am... Featured Table update: The implosion of Phil Hellmuth continues. Phil Hellmuth is officially on tilt. He was sucked out on when they were both all in. He had A-K and some guy with K-J rivered a Jack on him. Hellmuth was steaming in true Hellmuthian fashion. He got up and went over to his wife in the stands. He kept saying, "These guys don't even know how to spell the game they are playing. P-O-K-E-R. Unbelieveable. And Hold'em has six letters including an abbreviation." He sat down for a hand then went back over to his wife, where he still complained about the hand. She did her best to try to calm him down. BJ and I both agree that this hand will be aired on ESPN.

1:25am... Phil Hellmuth Tilt Watch: Hellmuth is walking off his tilt. He's been circling media row and walking out into the rest of the poker room. He wandered over to BJ and myself and asked us what we were writing about him. I got scared and wouldn't show him my blog. He looked at what BJ was writing on Card Player. "Make sure you say how he shoved $17K in with K-J!" he suggested before he wandered off with all the ESPN cameras following him

Phil Hellmuth lost a big pot 1:17 AM, Saturday, July 9 PST
Blinds: $200/$400 Ante: $50
Report: He called an all-in with A-K and was up against K-J. A J came on the river severly injuring Hellmuth's stack.

Phil Hellmuth is eliminated 1:57 AM, Saturday, July 9 PST
Blinds: $200/$400 Ante: $50
Report: Phil has been eliminated with A-Q against 7-7.

Annie Duke has also been eliminated

Well lets look at this for a second before we go to town again on Hellmuth. If I held AK vs KJ and the guy spiked a J I would be pretty ticked also, and so would everyone else. And I'm typing this slow BSU in case you cant keep up. Listen to me KJ is a s*** hand, suited or not. Is it worth the occasional limp or steal attempt yes but if you are getting lots of chips which 17,000 is alot of chips in a pot with KJ there is just no way you could have the best hand. It is the most overvalued hand by bad players of any. I mean you cant beat anything. AK, AJ, KQ, AQ All jave you up s*** creek and you are behind any pocket pair. So unless your opponent has K10 you are taking the worst of it. And for Hellmuth to lay down AK with a flop of AA4, that is a HUGE laydown that I think he is the best in the world at getting away from these type hands. 99/100 people go busted there. So get off his ass BSU :)

it is tough as phil is my favorite player. he is almost too good at times. i have watched him get beat so many times having the better starting, knowing what his opponent has, and then being out drawn. that is poker, but he has sick ability - he can go on tilt when pissed off - his loan weakness. :sadwave:

Hey Agent, this is not my words you read above, that is a straight copy/paste job. You know I am not in vegas so how would I have this info.

My info is from the guys blog who I posted in the other thread

You do remind me a lot of Phil you know agent, your temper is great :mj07: :mj07:

I think maybe you should put a penalty rule in place at your games

BSU I know you didnt write that, but I also know people, you included love to rant on Hellmuth. Its similar to Bob Knight. If someone else did what they do you wouldnt even notice it but when its them....well we know. And by the way no way there is a penalty in my game, I wouldnt have anywhere to play :mj07: I still cant beleive Paradise turned off my chat :)
