Unreal, Paraguay builds a 2-0 lead and couldn't hold the lead as they gave up the tying goal (penalty kick) in the last minute... this play was on the correct side.... should have played the ML

Unfortunately I fell asleep between the end of Paraguay's game and the start of England's, will have to watch the TAPE version being played later on in the afternoon....

In the Spain game I would have played them -1, but woke up to late to place a wager...

I was hoping Spain would not have scored in the first half as i would have played them -.5 in the second, but with that goal in the last 2 minutes if play it prohibits me from making such a wager... I just read that Paraguay is filing a complaint with Fifa about the late penalty kick that resulted in a goal by South Africa, I don't think it will be reversed as Politics will come into play here, but it would be nice if it would be over turned and save me 3 units

An Ecudorian side with very little in the way of creative options, known for their defense and quite honestly their hacking of superior teams. An Italian side known for getting a one goal lead and then sitting back and making you score against one of the best defenses in the world.

The only thing that promises to be interesting about this game is how many ejections there are.


I will not bite on the -667 ML or -222 on Italy on 3 way odds as a draw is possible....

Spoke to my uncle in Rome about 30 minutes ago and he says the country is expecting a big game from their players... geez it was 6AM (Italy time) and I could hear horns in the background as he was on his patio. I asked his for his final prediction and he concluded with a 1-0 victory. So with my Uncle gregorio's prediction, and the above info I will take a shot at an under play here...

Brazil VS Turkey

Brazil's internal problems are well-noted. What many don't know is that the Turks often play a conservative, low-scoring style that goes with a draw here. They will be quite content to get a tie against the pseudo-favorites, and try to advance by beating lesser teams. Turks also tend to get more defensive in road games -- as they have played quite a few draws against the likes of England, Spain, and others.(Nolan Dalla)

All I had to do was read Nolan's insight and I was sold..

Some thoughts.... Mexico really impressed me but I want to see how they play against a formidable opponent like Italy before I come to a conclusion about their play. I am unable to comment on the Brazil game as I feel asleep in the first 10 minutes of the game. All i know is that until the last 4 minutes of the game the DRAW was there, and 2 red cards,wow.... can anyone comment about the ref, was he fair ? I will see the replay of the match later today. I also missed the Italy game, I know I know SHAME ON ME, but I will make sure to see the replay today, at least the under came through

The ref in the Brazil game looked very nervous at times. Apparently this was his 1st WC game and he was definately out of his depth. It amazes me with the penatly decision that the linesman didn't confirm the infringment was outside the box. He had no choice but to send Alpay off but the pen decision was wrong. Turkey looked a very good side and could/should have snuck a last min equaliser.

Italy were playing a different game to Ecuador. The match was over inside half and hour and they shut-up shop there after. A typical professional Italian performance.

1st half Under came in nicely, China seems to get the fast breaks, but is not able to finish their plays, this is attributed to their lack of experience. I see the same thing happening in the 2nd half as well, the under for the game looks good at this point.
