I agree with your assesment of the coach but when you consider all Otto has done for Greek soccer in the last 7-8 years it'll be a tough call to let him go. I do think he'll retire in the next few weeks, if not days, however.
Well it took less than 24 hrs. I figured it would be at least a couple of days until he resigned, but to be fair the man is 72.

What a disaster of a morning!! I lost every single bet for a loss of over $140, shit man! One thing i told myself coming in to this tournament was to avoid the groups/teams that I thought I didn't have a good feel for and at least limit my plays if I was going to wager on a game involving them. Well, I sure screwed that one up this morning, putting too many of my eggs in one basket on a group of teams that I really didn't know enough about. I knew that Paraguay could win the group, and they were clearly the best team, but the draw today was a shocker. No way anyone would have said that new Zealand wouldn't lose a game in this world cup coming in, NOBODY. They were the wild card. Italy let a lot of people down, including me with my futures bet on them, but if they had played all three games like they did in the last 20 minutes of their match today they could have gone unbeaten. I thought Lippi made a big mistake not getting veteran Cameronesi in there today, he provided a huge spark for them in the 2nd half of their game vs paraguay, and obviously not having Buffon in goal came back to bite them.
Oh well, I'll move on and hope to get some of it back this afternoon. I really think were up for an entertaining match with Cameroon and the Netherlands. With virtually nothing on the line I think we'll see both teams loosen up a bit and hopefully we'll get plenty of scores. At least that's what I'm hoping for along with a comfortable Danish win!
GL everyone
