Adding one for this evening. As most of you know I am not a MLS fan nor do I bet it much, but my DC boys are telling me DC United is a new team, Rooney has them playing well and they have a shot at making a run for the playoffs. Making some money this weekend so what the hell:

DC United -120

Not sure what that hell happened to my B&H post earlier but it either got deleted or I screwed it up. Like how they are playing at home.

DC United finished off a nice weekend, so onto the next week.

Two plays today:

Liverpool Ov 3 -115 - Will stick to their overs as they can attack with the best in the world and still think they are suspect in the back. To me, they look like the only team that can possibly challenge City for the title. Like them -1 also if you can get it.

Atletico Madrid Un 2.5 -140 - I do not play many unders but I think it is warranted here. Valencia has not scored at all in their last 4 La Liga matches against Atletico. That is enough for me. This looks like a 1-0 game to me and I am surprised to get the 2.5 here.

Thanks Vig.

This is a very interesting round of CL. With the change in format this round is now huge and represents at least $30 million to these teams to make it to the group stage. As such, there is a lot of pressure on these teams to advance. Given that, I think we see some very tight games today.

Been struggling with exactly how to play it. I think we will see some first half draws and likely a couple game draws. Plus we should see lower scoring games so all the unders look good. I do think the bigger name teams get a little too much credit on the road, so I am making these two small home team plays first:

Bate Borisov +.5 -135 - This team rarely loses at home. PSV is the better team but this is a tough place to play and I think Bate can get a result here so I like getting the half.

Red Star Belgrade +.5 -140 - Same here. This is a very, very strong defensive team. Salzburg has struggled on the road in the past and falls back on their home play, so I think they are happy with a draw here. Belgrade is already top of the league and playing well so I like getting the half again.

Will be back later on if I have more. I think I will be on a couple FH draws but still working on it.

The lines are really the only thing that is hold me back. Bate and Red Star at home just look like good bets to me. It is not like PSV and Salzburg are juggernauts. Salzburg gets to this level every year and has yet to break thru to the group stage. Bate just keeps winning/not losing at home. Will be very surprised if both lose at home today.

Yup, that was a tough break for us and for Bate.

Tomorrow is just as tough in CL but I like

Dynamo Kiev +1 - Ajax getting way too much credit here in my opinion. Plus, if they do happen to win by more than one goal, I will be pounding Kiev next week.

I am getting my Euro capping out of the way tonight because I have to dig into the opening of the Bundesliga this weekend. Not looking at a lot of games just a couple situations. The level of competition is getting better so there are not as many over situations like the prior rounds.

Olympiakos -150 - This is the line right now, I will wait to see how it moves as I have a feeling it will come down. Burnley is off to a bad start in the Premier League and is already getting worn out with the number of games they are playing. They are not a deep team so I think this schedule is taking a toll already. My guess is they are about to throw in the towel in Euro and focus on the League (if I owned the team this is what I would do). They are on the road this weekend at Fulham in a game they have to think they can win. This is more of a play against Burnley but I like it.

Zorya +1 -110 - This is another situational play. First of all, Leipzig is not a great road team in this type of competition and they rely on big home wins. Second, this is in the Ukraine, so it is a brutal travel schedule for them. Third, and most importantly, they open up the Bundesliga season Sunday at Dortmund. They are already complaining about the travel and I believe they only really have the Dortmund game on their minds. I do not expect a great effort on the road, so I will take the +1. Will also look at either the draw or taking a shot with +510 after seeing how the line moves.

Atalanta is another I am still looking at and will decide later. My only concern is that they have a tough road game against Roma in the League coming up.

At this stage of the competition you have to start looking ahead at who they are playing since many of these teams really do not care about winning Euro.

I get why they don't care (see Feyenoord), but Burnley needs to look in the mirror because Euro is their only shot at CL. They aren't making top 4 in EPL

They need to be more worried about not being in the bottom three!! In my opinion they have zero chance to win Euro. They had one of those years last year where everything went their way. My guess is it will be Watford or Bournemouth this year. It is hard to keep pulling out 1-0 games. Plus they can not handle the schedule. I could be wrong but I am not expecting a great game from them tomorrow.

thanks for the write ups guys :0074

today wednesday i'm playing MOL Vidi (previously known as Videoton, Hun) - AEK Athens FC (Gre) to go over, odds are just crazy. Athens beat Celtic to qualify, Vidi played Malm? that haven't been in it's form of last years (currently 5th in Allsvenskan).

AEK is there for a away goal or two, 0-0 would be a win for Vidi.

fh O1 +202
ft O2 +133
ft O2? +210
AEK tt O1 +105 x 3

I agree with Bason and have said it since stsrt Of year. I see a big regression with burnley this year even though i love dysche as a manager.. they had everything fall their way last year and i give them 0% chance to win europa and dysche has to know that

I should have also said, I don't think they have any chance to win Euro as well lol. I can however see a scenario in which Dysche realizes that Euro is their only chance at having a relevant season. Not trying to talk you guys off of your leans, just making conversation more or less. They've started out poorly, and all signs point to them stinking this season (which I hope they do, as well as Huddersfield). I'm tired of park the bus games.
