Hey Dawgball...where are your pics? Did they not turn out?

Well, I spent the better part of this week culling them down. :142smilie Got home late last night from NYC. Will be uploading them to Flickr tonight and posting link tomorrow.

Great meeting you and your wife. It was a real pleasure!

What a great time last weekend at Belterra. It was great to see old friends once again and the opportunity to meet new ones.

I got to the casino around 6 PM on Friday night and after I checked in, found Jack, Dawgball, Dunclock and Fat Daddy Cool in the bar... no surprise there :142smilie

Caught up with Andy for a few minutes and then we all headed down to the Poker Room to get signed up for the 7 PM tournament. Ran into Handicapper (love this guy!) and found out he had already cashed in a tournament earlier that day. I don't know if someone pulled some strings, but initially we were told that the registration had been closed. Next thing I know I'm buying in to the tournament and sitting with FDC, Dawg and Dunclock. Lasted for about an hour... my pocket Queens ran into pocket Kings. Visited with and watched 6-5 play at the next table over for a few minutes.

Was playing some low limit poker when Nole walked over and introduced himself to me. How he could pick me out of a room full of people is amazing :mj07: He brought 2 putt Tommy and his gorgeous wife Amanda over and introduced them to me. Amanda sat down at the table a short time later and I don't think my eardrum has recovered yet. She is one LOUD lady!

There was a large group of Madjackers hanging out up front and 6-5 finally was able to drag me away from losing all of my money at the poker table. Was waiting to cash out and saw Bohawk and called him over and we visited for a few minutes. Started to head back up front and ran into Wineguy and Angela. Had a great conversation with them and after a while we all went up front to join the rest of the group.

Bobby, Smurph, GMroz, ScubaSteve (Handicapper's buddy) and the rest of the crew were already in rare form. Met Bohawk's brother JoeBo as well as Handicapper's lovely wife. My good buddy Kosar was cute as ever sitting on a bar stool against the wall taking it all in. We caught up for a few minutes and then Wineguy brought me a special treat... Liquid Gold that is. Crown Royal Cask #16. Smooth like buttah I think I said several times.

After that bar closed down, those of us left headed on down to the other bar still open and I had a great time getting to visit with Fat Daddy Cool. Let me tell you folks something... this guy is as good as they come. Genuine, friendly and one funny dude! I really enjoyed getting to visit. Was just sorry that I couldn't keep my eyes open past 3:30 AM.

Will go over Saturday's events a bit later.

As FDC says... hope this helps. :SIB

Right back at ya Big Stud!!!! That was buttah. I went off to hit on the broad that had one leg longer than the other and her Mom and forgot to ask for a glass of that beautiful stuff. Was clearly the best bourbon I have ever had. Was like a damn buttery caramel, splash of soon to be idiotic behavioral problems all rolled into a little glass.

That for should.

Hope to see you and a few others soon. gonna try to get with KellyinDallas and set something up either at Tour 18 or somewhere cool in the nearby area, the Gaylord Texas is right there too. Actually me trying to get with Kelly has nothing to do with the trip I just think that is an ongoing thing but I digress.

Hope this helps and I am truly humbled by your kind words from a good man,

Cris

Fat, now that is funny. Had no feel around the greens that day. I putted (?) like you drove.

I'm just lucky I had some shorts that weren't "denim". Golf fashion is stuck up it's own ass. I was tempted to go barefoot like those hillbillies a few teams in front of us, but did not want to get an inferiority complex in the company of BBC's size 14's.

I understand your rationale about the lack of a collared shirt for golf, playing in southern Indiana. Frankly the concept of "shoes" is a rather recent phenomenon to the area.

He brought 2 putt Tommy

2 foot Tommy my brother. Remember, he couldn't miss. :00hour

So much fun last weekend(it's almost been a week already?).

Super meeting you RollTide. You are one of the nicest guys I've ever met, bar none!

Thanks very much for the tail-gate party before and after. What a buffet of alcoholic beverages!

Was it warm playing golf? Yeah, I think so.

Take care Tide. Talk with you soon.

Actually no. They were found, but not without a story, (that's only fitting right?)

Since we finished up golfing so late, I guess it was just too hard to see my car keys in the cart when i was cleaning up. Also, RollTide's bloody mary's were just too tempting to pass up, so instead of heading to my car and stowing my clubs and shoes......I was making sure I got a taste of the good life. Where are my priorities after all? IN THE RIGHT EFFING PLACE!

So after spending an hour in the parking lot drinking, BSing, meeting new people, recapping, and getting scolded by the hotel property's security staff, I finally went to my car to get any shoes on other than my golf shoes. One problem......NO CAR KEYS. Left em in the cart.

So i lug my clubs and all upstairs through the hotel and put everything in the room. I then try to locate someone who can help me retrieve my car keys. Ultimately, I found security and they loaded me up in a van with a 90 year old man (which made me feel ultra secure by the way. I'm sure not too many people could have taken this welterweight). We went to the cart barn and after trying about 75 keys, we finally got in. Don't ask me how, but I remembered exactly what cart we were on that day, "77." Found the cart and of course......no keys. So now what?!

Well, I sure as hell wasn't gonna let a silly thing like shoes stop my fun, so I went to the bar "sans" shoes. Give it a try sometime.....wasn't bad :142smilie

Anyway, the next morning, I was hungover as hell. Samantha didn't mind turning on about every light in the room at about 9am, blasting the TV, and offering to go and get me food that wouldn't have stayed down if I wanted it to. She did, however, go to the pro shop, and ask about my keys. Luckily, they were there.....Canadian keychain and all.

We ended up leaving the property around noon......me still being violently hungover. Samantha was a good trooper though. She drove the first 3+ hours while I continued to sleep it off. Next thing I know, we are in West Va already and its time for another meal, which I did not partake in. I did however take the wheel.....and managed to drive us the rest of the 4.5 hours or so. Samantha didn't give me too much grief....but any she gave, I'm sure I deserved

friggin computer locked up and had to completely wash the damn hard drive. I didn't do it, mostly because I didn't want to and don't need to know when someone can do it for me, but it only took the geek squad a couple of days to fix. Sounds like you had a pretty good day:00hour

My apologies for the delay on the photos. I have now been at my house for about 36 hours since leaving Belterra. :mj10:

First, great weekend put on by Jack, BetJamaica, and BetCRIS! Thanks, guys.

A special thanks goes out to our fearless leader on tee time bullying! Nice work!
