What is your definition of average and how is that relative to being a scratch golfer?

I'm not claiming shit pal, that is what you can't seem to 'get'.

The only thing I 'claimed' is I would break par at Augusta, and I am willing to wager 10 grand on it, provided someone can get my Dad and I on to play it. That bet still stands.

Other than that I have not claimed to be this that or the other. It is about as worrisome as a cloudy day to me what Vinnie or you or just about anyone else thinks about my Golf game.

I understand where your coming from with the 10k
But you failing to break par in almost every one of the tourneys you played in shows me you wouldnt break 80 at augusta ( more than likely 90). Your telling me you could outplay guys like camillo and robert allenby ? :com:

Who cares...give it up. He played good in the tournament, not good enough to make the cut. He has played some difficult courses and posted very legitimate scores. Who cares if he is a scratch golfer...I don't think he cares or needs to prove it to you.

This was a thread to wish him good luck, not to ride his nutsack.

Let it go man...

I doubt he cares if he could break 90 at Augusta - he just wants to play there!!

Sheeshe, I'm just a girl that knows diddly about golf and even I get this! And he NEVER claimed to be able to outplay anyone on the pga tour. GIVE IT UP MAN!

Read my post i said i understand where hes coming from. But I followed that statement up with my own prediction saying he wouldnt break 90. Especially if guys like Allenby, Stricker and Camillo weren't breaking 80

Thanks for putting it in extra big letters for me. That really helped me to understand your point...

People with no talent always sit around predicting what people WITH game can and will do. It is the nature of life.

Have fun young man....remember, you aren't alone as there are a few other tools here to join in with you.

Like i said i have no problem with you. What has your 'talent' ( for lack of a better term) earned you? A 165.80 pay check?

Think Golf is a mental game at all? After 66-66 looks like sleeping on the lead got to Andy Winings.

The 5 shot lead is now 2!

He is the best ball striker I have ever seen! #9 was 479 par 4 into the wind. I hit a bomb of a drive, 280 into the wind and the ball backed up, had 198 into the green and striped my hybrid (3 iron) onto the front fringe. Winings hit Driver wedge!:scared

You folks that keep arguing about him not being scratch need to learn more about the handicap system. I bet everyone of these scores you keep throwing up do not even effect his handicap because they are not his 10 best scores and it does not matter where you shoot them.

OK, here is a good example, Tiger Woods shot +6 in the US Open so I guess Tiger is a two handicap:shrug:

HANDICAP IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE SCORE:nono:

You get to try any putting stuff today?

went yesterday just to tinker with swing and putting alike. After 9 holes of missed 4 footers, and back-back birdie putts that turned into bogeys I decided to go back to something I did years ago. I opened both feet to the holea allowing me to see the hole better and for some reason putt better. I know it is not sound as I cut across the ball a little on impact but at this point I will try anything. Hows this for inconsistant 49-39=88.
If all else fails I will have to start playing at the course below, lol
