haven't seen any specific reason for this drop

was able to do my first deposits to bitfinex (thanks a lot kraken...
saved me some money with slow transfer... :0008 ).

bought 2 sets of IOTA, IOTA/BTC 0.0001675 and 0.0001551 ( now 0.0001538... :scared )

i'm gonna keep those, have other accounts in euros and see where this goes

I think you need to evaluate what type of investor/gambler you are.

If you are in it for short term gains, good luck with that and the stomach lining you will lose.

For me, it's either a huge home run, or it goes to zero. Just like wagering on sports or going to a brick and mortar casino, I don't risk what I'm not willing to lose.

I am not in a panic or looking to sell, just wondering if any news why such a big downswing across the board.

And if its time to buy MORE :popcorn2

If I was a bitcoin millionaire, I think I would take heed...
Risk tolerance is the key here...

Ethereum briefly crashed from $319 to 10 cents in seconds on one exchange after ?multimillion dollar? trade
Ethereum briefly suffered a flash crash on the GDAX exchange on Wednesday.
The price fell from around $319 to 10 cents in a matter of seconds.
Many ethereum traders lost large sums of money.
The cryptocurrency later rebounded.

I didn't click the link but I wish I was aware when it dipped to 10 cents. Wow!

The ETH drop was based partly on the ICO craze recently. BTFD meaning Buy the Fucking Dips. You'd be up 20% today on ETH.

They refunded all those impacted by the flash crash. Also, never hold millions in margin. Asking to get rekt. A stop limit isn't going to save you.

Those impacted shouldn't be trading without that knowledge.

They basically said, when ETH hits x sell until all my ETH is gone. so the market bought all their ETH at the flash prices. If they were just holding, nothing would have happened.

don't want to brag about that IOTA, but they are now/very soon available from several exchanges (currently just Bitfinex and Coinspot, possibly coming to Bitshares, Kraken, Poloniex ). Also it is already available ETH/IOTA, not just BTC or USD.

daily volyme is up 50% from last week, still just 1/200 of the market cap.

imo pretty interesting opportunity

A market cap of 1.174 BILLION @ .42 cents...:scared

2,779,530,283 MIOTA :scared

Why not look at VRC only a small market cap of 18 million with 30 million outstanding... $.62 cents...Lots of upside potential.

i recommend steering away from IOTA until it's situation gets clearer. it's been jumping up/down between IOTA/BTC 0.0001400-1800. volume is so low it even looks like someone is manipulating market and keeping it in certain price range no matter if BTC goes up or down.

platform looks really good but i still haven't found answer to "what forms the value of the IOTA token in long term". how price changes (goes up) if supply is almost unlimited and demand filled all the time ? at the moment you can buy very limited services with it and it looks like hold&hope at the moment.

i loaded more at 0.0001500 level and it's running at ~0.00014700 at the moment but losing vs ETH and $

IOTA is getting more exchanges in up coming weeks starting 13th of this month. also news about new implementations are coming in so hoping it catches up. marketing of this token is zero.

edit:
Microsoft Azure (cloud service) gets IOTA and Ethereum update:

Hope all is well Bryan and it appears to be going very well from what I can make out. Going to sign up and throw a little at it and learn to fly on the way down I reckon:lol: Lots of time and great info on your part:0074

Couple of things I still do not totally understand is how one actually gets USD out if that is what they want, and the tax implications(though this is less important). I am certain these have been answered in yalls many discussions over the months but I must have missed it if it was laid out step by step.

I would be a buy and stash guy so I would imagine pretty easy for me:toast:
