Can't imagine bitcoin being a convenient way to spend money in a strip joint.

I am long on the future of blockchain technology as the ultimate future of many things we currently do. I'm not looking to get out anytime soon. I may swap one particular coin for another here and there based on news and updates, but overall I am slowing adding money in as a part of an overall investment strategy.

My crypto portfolio is currently broken down like this:
BTC, 16.08%
GNT, 6.98%
ETH, 46.96%
XRP, 21,72%
SC, 8.26%

It's been a wild ride recently. Overall portfolio is up 486% and the vast majority of that is within 2017.

What's up, Jack! Just popped in to look around and a bitcoin thread happened to be on top! Hope your well, my man!

Etherium- I regret not buying some of it when it was less than 5 bucks.

BTC keep it up

I still think ETH a good buy a $175, I got in at $10 a few months ago. And I would throw some money at Ripple. I bought it a couple of weeks ago at .13, it's up to .31 now.

Pretty awesome for you guys. I can't imagine being an early investor.

Like all investments the question becomes when to get out. I do think it's a bubble that will burst at some point. And when you do get out, how are you going to deal with the IRS if it's a substantial amount. Good problems to have though!

Question:
Do you guys store bitcoins in an online wallet (i.e. coinbase.com) or cold storage (i.e USB hub or desktop computer)?
Please advise.

Coinbase here I'm not sure about others, check the thread below by Woodson, some good things in there that may help

I want to know what about taxes? Do I have to keep up with anything, like I transferred money into my gambling acct but I haven't sold any yet. Anyone know tax implications?

I just let it sit in my wallet and I'm glad I did. I do have a USD Vault at coinbase that I used for a little while but bitcoin kept going up so I put it back in my BTC wallet.
