Someone please help me out with course history. I can't find players scores on courses from this event in the past. Stan I tried your site, and maybe I just wasn't utilizing the search function right. Also try a desktop data program that i have and it doesnt list the courses either

Leaning Charles Warren in the 4th round.. Only thing is i have so many units riding on him already. His last 2 rounds of golf he has 14 birdies and 2 eagles :scared
He is playing the easiest course in the rotation. It's wishful thinking but I expect another low round to move into the top 10 to 15 heading into Sunday, especially if he can figure out his putting. :mj09:

abc - you can access the scores from the golf channel - click on Bob Hope links until you get to a page that has a link for 2007 results - from there you can get to players' performances with the course listings, just click on full field scores for desired year then click on player's name - takes a while but that's how I have been looking at it

Round 4 plays (1pt)

Tim Herron to beat Joe Durant +140 @ Five Dimes
Herron has no chance of making the cut, but that doesn't mean that he won't try today. When in a similar position after round 1 of a normal event, he has shot 70 or better in 8 of his last 9 events. He is widely available at +125 but with ties lose, so the value is with Five Dimes

Nick Flanagan to beat Fred Couples +125 @ Ladbrokes
Five Dimes are right to price Flanagan -145 in this matchup, so I'll gladly take a chance on ties losing with this price on the far better player

Dean Wilson to beat Rich Beem +105 @ The Greek
Another case of backing the better player with odds-against even though there is a loss with a tie

Yong-Eun Yang to beat Dustin Johnson -125 @ Five Dimes
Could be a test of character for Johnson after looking so promising, but then recording five bogeys in six holes at the end of his round yesterday; Yang looks as though he belongs on this Tour

You only needed to ask :mj07:

Used previous course history as an angle in the first two rounds, but results are entirely opposite to expected ... at least in my plays!

Had a feeling kim would go low, he said he hit it great yesterday just didnt make any putts. Also figured boo would struggle after shooting 10 under yesterday. Couldnt play either since 5 dimes didnt offer any. I thought Verplank would go about 5 under today and also though mcgovern would struggle ( not sure what hes at) but for the same reason as boo

Please god let dimarco, henry and austin miss the cut :withstupi

Who will be the first to jump onto the Kim bandwagon :0corn

:mj07: :mj07: Unfortunately no one here took the bait. Stan has been making a killin with him with the in tourney bets though

This is shaping up for another MDF :0corn
My 72ers are looking like 1 - 2 posted  (1 - 0 unposted jesper over dimarco). The key to the week is Warren over Henry.. by far my biggest bet of the year

Henry birdied last hole to get in however Pettersson out--feel extremely fortunate to get .7 profit out of miss cut props in what I figured were sure losses with no wind on CC and SR 1st 2 days.

After expecting 5 stroke spot that never developed--feel very lucky to sitting with 2 matches left and chance to end on plus side.
Would have forfeited half the matchs if they'd let me cancel other half-after 1st day. :)

Round 5 plays (1pt)

Lucas Glover to beat Chad Campbell -110 @ Carib
Both players only just made the cut, but they differ in how they respond when in a similar postion in the final round. Over the last 3 years, Glover has averaged 69.67 in the final round (including 66 from a similar position in this event in 2006); Campbell has averaged 72.44 and failed to beat 72 in any of his last eight attempts

Charley Hoffman to beat Ryan Moore -110 @ Carib
Siding with the better player who will be extra motivated to finish well being the defending champion

D.J. Trahan to beat Robert Gamez +100 @ Pinnacle
Gamez did win the 2005 Texas Open from this position, but hadn't broken 70 when in 2nd/3rd position with one round to play since 1997; Trahan's final round scores when in this position read 65-74-69-66

Scott McCarron to beat Michael Letzig +105 @ Five Dimes
Will gladly take these odds on the Sacramento native. This is his first PGA Tour appearance for 19 months, so I can't see any letdown in terms of effort even though he is well down the leaderboard
