First Boxing Matches of the New Year !
Very slow start unfortunately.

Karmazin vs. D. Miranda headlines ESPN FNF.

Menzer and Boytsov headline in Germany, but the super middle title bout (Steiglitz vs. Pantera Miranda) is now off.

Best card is in Japan Monday:

In Tokyo, Japan
Juan Carlos Salgado (21-0-1) vs. Takashi Uchiyama (13-0)
Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym (39-1) vs. Satoshi Hosono (16-0)

Salgado is the cat who upset Linares in the 1st round.
And, on the same card, the POON defends his title he won by smashing Dunne !

Mundine also fights Monday at 154. Not sure what the hell he is doing at 154, as he was weak at 60. This should be interesting.

We FINALLY have some fights:00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour

I made an ill fated wager on the UFC last night but fortunately the 9ers came through in the 4th quarter to prevail by better than 8. I rarely make plays on either sport and I'm rather lucky to show a small profit. 2 weeks without a wager was tough and I think I was having withdrawals.

NOW ON TO BOXING IN 2010 :toast:

Best of luck Gents!!!

Stieglitz opponent named

WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz (36-2, 22 KOs) will now face WBO #11 rated Ruben Eduardo Acosta (23-3-5, 7 KOs) on Saturday in Magdeburg, Germany. Acosta stepped in at late notice to replace Edison Miranda, who had to pull out due to illness.

Mundine vs Medley update

Former WBA 168 pound champion Anthony Mundine (37-3, 23 KOs) has decided not to challenge for the vacant IBO 154 pound title against Robert Medley (27-2, 17 KOs) and will now be contesting for the vacant WBA international 160 pound title at the Entertainment Center in Sydney, NSW, Australia on January 11. Mundine would not accept the IBO officials that were appointed and wanted to have officials from the state of New South Wales. There was speculation that Mundine was struggling to make the 154 pound limit and will be stronger fighting at 160. Medley?s manager Bill Treacy remained confident his boxer can cause an upset victory. ?Rob has been in impressive and solid sparring sessions with Daniel Geale who gave Mundine the fight of his life last May in Brisbane. Geale was unlucky not to get the decision. Medley?s only losses has been to former IBF 147 pound champion Issac Hlatswayo but he is much stronger boxing in the heavier weight division.?

Sux Miranda withdrew , this would be bankjob :scared

Saw Miranda +120. I was going to be all over it. Miranda isn't a world beater but you still have to be pretty damn good to get by him and you need to have a chin. I don't think Stieg could have stayed with him over 12.

I'm getting antsy for some boxing wagers!

It can be either routing problem from your ISP to their servers or problem with maximum transfer unit on the part of the path to them or even DNS problem. You can test that by trying to access them using different internet service provider at the times you can't get to them.
It sounds odd that sometimes you can access them and sometimes not.

I've tried msn, aol, and internet explorer. I'm a computer idiot and this shit drives me crazy. I recently upgraded the msn to 10 and maybe there was some security added...fck I don't know but I cant access those sites:mad:

I'm going to try my computer at work in an hr.
