I've tried msn, aol, and internet explorer. I'm a computer idiot and this shit drives me crazy. I recently upgraded the msn to 10 and maybe there was some security added...fck I don't know but I cant access those sites:mad:

I'm going to try my computer at work in an hr.

I'm able to access the sites at work but no luck at home...I don't know...must be a fucking firewall or something. I'm open to suggestions if anybody has any...Thx!

It's only the Sportsbooks affiliates. I'm able to get on all other sites.

So, do you use the same internet service provider at home and at work?
If you are not, which I am presuming, then there is not a lot you can do.

Hmm...weird. I'd be pissed to. Right when things are getting rolling again, shit I'm pissed for you. Well, I'm definately not a technical consultant, but I suppose I would call Sportsbook directly to ask, and then my Internet Service Provider. Possibly something on your computer...some anti-virus checkmark somewhere? Are other books working for you?

If none of this works, you can always try a double jab followed by a left hook.

I'm sure you'll get it sorted by fight night. No lines yet anyhow.

Thing is, if you have the same ISP at work and at home, problem is in your PC. This is not probable cause you can sometimes access them just not all the time. Disable firewall, allow cookies and you'll be fine.
On the other hand, if ISPs are not the same, which is more probable, problem is within the internet path. Internet path between you and sportsbook servers consist of some 5-15 connecting ISPs. You could discover where exactly by playing with trace route command but it won't help you because you would need some action from ISP along the path. ISP won't change their paths if you are not a big customer.
You can resolve this by using proxy server at home or by remote accessing your job_PC from home_PC and placing the bets that way.
If you decide doing that, shoot me an e-mail. I am not comp geek but I work for the telecom and will ask around.

Not sure what the fuck was going on but this just started 2 days ago when I did a recovery on my home computer. Last night on a whim I thought I'd just uninstall Norton (which has been a pain in my ass) and voila...I am now able to get onto the sites :00hour. Of course my computer will be filled with viruses by the end of the day but at least I have access to some odds!!! Thx for your help Gents!

My 6 yr old takes a computer class twice a week so in no time she'll be giving me lessons. The flip side of that of course is that she'll probably discover all the dirty little sites dad visits :142smilie

Computer problems can drive you to distraction. I have a problem re. the MadJack forum. I am permanently logged in on my main computer, an iMac. However, I cannot log in on my Sony laptop. The system doesn't recognise my user name/password combination when I am on the laptop. So, if I'm away from base (and I plan to go on a trip next week) I will be unable to post on MadJack. I even requested new passwords from MadJack admin, but nothing worked. I give up. If I feel the need to post anything while I'm away maybe I will see if I can do it through my buddy Ghostkid.

No problem at all Graham. Enjoy your trip. I would be glad to pass any insight along. So glad to have boxing back!

This week is really quiet. But before you know it, we will have Mosley-Berto and Valero-Demarco.

All the new boxing has been sent out.

The bowl game is holding them up from being up.
I usually dont give ETAs or address when numbers will open, but this is exception bc I am getting emails asking same questions and I feel you's. Plus it's 2010 so figure I'll be courteous to some of you polesmokers.

Keep ur jets cooled and imagine they will pop up shortly after the game starts.

Winter Olympics have been a pain in ass 4 my guys too, so just be patient. The Japan bouts on monday will be included on this slow week of bouts so u will have some bouts to play around with.

Also RE: any PBF vs Manny wagers and inquiries. This bout is probly -165 to take place in 2010.
All wagers on the Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Manny Pacquiao Welterweight/Catchweight Boxing Match originally scheduled for March 2010 will remain Pending and Valid as per the note on select websites stating that the ''Bout has action if takes place in 2010.''

Wagers will remain pending regardless of any press releases or other general media information stating the bout will not take place in 2010.

If there is an injury to either fighter in their upcoming bouts tentatively scheduled for early 2010 and/or there is 100% certainty that the Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Manny Pacquiao bout will not take place in 2010, any sportsbooks I do some work with will review and take the appropriate action to refund wagers.

Good luck and enjoy.

I'm debating whether I want to grab me some POON this weekend

He's treated me right in the past
can he do it again on the road?

You have to think one of these two undefeated Japanese guys is going to win

I don't know what to think of Salgado...that Linares fight was so sudden

Okay here we go...

T.Uchiyama (+165) - good size play The question here is whether or not Salgado's KO1 over Linares was a lucky punch. Before this, Salgado appeared to be a fringe prospect, even stuggling at times against mariginal opposition. Fighters can improve though, which may be the case with Salgado. He is lanky and somewhat awkward, and is maybe coming into his own. I'm sure the victory over Linares will have given him great confidence...still. Uchiyama is an elite Japanese prospect, I would say more of a proven commodity than Salgado, even though Salgado holds the title. Uchiyama has been matched tough since the beginning of his career, and yet has won almost every round of every fight. And he is the home fighter here. Salgado will not go quietly, but I think Uchiyama proves his worth and seizes the opportunity here with a clear win.

Poonsawat (-185) - med/small Not going too big here, and in part getting the odds to pick'em with parlay. Hosono is a tough nut, and on home soil...but Poon is the real deal, and will certainly come prepared. Tough fight, but I think Poon comes thru in close decision.

That's about it on week 1.... For parlay sake I think all the big favs come thru.

Let's get'em madmen!! :SIB

Super Middleweight 7 rounds - Entertainment Centre - Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Mon 1/11

Garth Wood +250
Kariz Kariuki -350

5dimes has a line up for this bout. I guess it is the finals of THE CONTENDER AUSTRALIA? On the same card as Mundine apparently.

My picks...

My picks...

Dionisio Miranda +285 - Small
Karmazin is the better boxer here, but he is 37 and been threw too many wars. Miranda has the youth, reach and height advantage which should help him land his hard punches to KO Karmazin and his susceptible chin. I know Miranda got Koed in 2 by Lorenzo, but that punch would of koed anyone and Karmazin doesn't have that kind of power. Miranda stunned Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin (who has a better chin that Karmazin) in 2 separate rounds and if he can do that to Karmazin this fight is going to end inside 12.

Stieglitz vs Acosta Under 9.5 +130- Small
Stieglitz is fighting in his hometown against a guy who is taking this fight on short notice with little power. Stieglitz has been very active and he should outclass and punish Acosta so by the 8th round the ref will be stepping in to stop the fight.

Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym -200 Medium
What can I say, Poon is in his prime right now and has a lot of confidence fighting in his hometown or in other countries. Poon has always had power, but now he has better timing and accuracy of his combinations. His footwork is much improved too. Hosono is a tall fighter with a good amateur background, but he is not ready for this big a step up in class. Poon wins the UD in Tokyo.

Good Luck guys! :)

I think at this point in time Miranda is worth a shot!
Karmazin is old and he's clearly not the fighter the he once was. He likes to keep his hands low, which should give Miranda the chance to land one of his wide and looping powershots.
I read somewhere that Karmazin himself acknowledged that his healt isnt quite what it was...
@nearly +300 its worth a gamble IMO, though nothing would really surprise me in this fight.

Poon on paper should really beat his Japanese challenger, I have a funny feeling however, but seriously I dont see him losing....

edit: I just watched how Karmazin got stunned by Dos Santos as well in his last fight. :scared

I took a swipe @ the under on Miranda/Karm +145 8 1/2. Not a big wager but both of these guys are vulnerable. Miranda has been stopped 3 times and iced in 2 rd by Lorenzo last yr. Karm was stopped by the ancient Bunema and nearly ktfo by the more ancient echols. I'm just hoping somebody goes early in this one.

Long odds on Charr but Beck was alwas a fringe contender and hes fought a list of scrubs since being stopped by valuev several yrs back. Becks wt has been getting up with each fight. Charr doesn't look like the real deal but he should get by the much faded Beck.

The fights in Japan are tough to call. Quanah makes a very good argument but Salgado @25 could very well be coming into his own. These tough Mexicans start their careers very early and at about 25, many are just entering their prime. The Japanese guy is no slouch but this one is VERY tough to call IMO. Ill pass. Good luck everybody!
