Im on the over for Poon/Honsono. Both can crack a bit which is an obvious conern but both are also very durable. Poon has a lot of stoppages over scrubs and Dunne never had a chin so I don't give to much credence to that . I don't believe either has been down and to my knowledge hurt bad in any fight. Both are world class orthodox fighters so no lefty righty head clash worries. I expect a fast paced close 12 rder. -195 9 1/2.

Apparently closer cards than many viewers saw it.

Where has Mundine's power gone?

Dude has got skills, but he can't punch his way out of a wet paper bag. This may cost him when/if he steps up his level of competition.

He's lost power because he's getting older and shrinking down in size. He's in great shape at 168, I have no idea why he has pared down to middleweight for his last 4 out of 5 bouts. Very counterproductive. If anything, at his age and with all the years he's had at 168, 175 would seem much more logical.

Congrats fellas
THE POON is the real deal
I am gonna download that fight today and check it out

So now do we get Linares vs. Uchiyama?

and Kramden is spot on about Mundine. He is killing himself making weight. That negates some power and makes the chin shakier. Crazy Kim almost had him out and Geale gave him a real run for it.

It was probably time for him to step up the competition at 168 so looks like he decided to step down and what he pulled, making Medley think it was a 154 bout up until a week before the fight seems a little Floydish and seems he's losing much respect in Austrailia as Floyd is here in the US. Danny Jacobs would probably take him at 160.

I agree. Some top 20 guys would probably beat him now. It's strange, he was looking real good in 2006 and 2007. He beat Danny Green and annihilated Sam Solimon in their 2nd fight, stopping the tough guy. And he had a couple of other KO wins.

All I can think of is that in his 3rd fight with Solomon, Choc struggled and was hurt badly in the fight. Some even questioned the decision. Since then he's looked like crap and then brought his weight down.

And you're right about the Medley fight. I thought it was set at 154 as well. What was he trying to do,screw with Medley's preparations? Sounds like it.
