Well, that didn't pan out. Tarver wins a UD 98-92 across the board. I think we were all so shocked to see Tarver so fat that we overlooked the fact that Aguilera is a fat bastard too. I only caught the last 3 rounds, but from accounts it was a ridiculously lazy performance from Ag.

Yep...Agy was the perfect opponent...and opponent is what he is. The guy didnt show any cajones til rd 10. If he had an ounce of Brinks and Sheikas courage, he could have done something. Wasted 3 bucks on my part . Should have been a VERY small play but got greedy. Not a bad night with parlays etc bute, diac. Diac gave me a heart attack in rd 2...thank God the kd happened late in the rd. Diacv came back but got buzzed good again at the bell.

I need Webb to make or break the wkend. Good luck Gents!

Eloy Perez wins Majority Dec over Salcido
95-95
96-94
96-94

:0074

I never saw the bet offered but would have wagered Eloy...honestly

This is what Graham had to say-Spot on pick Graham :0074

The crowd at Fantasy Springs casino in Indio, CA and TV viewers should be treated to a sparkling fight. I make Perez the favourite and I pick him to win a hard-fought decision, but had betting odds been posted I would have considered Salcido a live underdog.

Same for me. I need Webb too, and if Vasquez gets Hernandez out of there it will turn the weekend right around.

I also had much the same opinion about Eloy. Would have gone on him, and probably included him in parlays too...but I thought Salcido was live. I think we would have seen the odds at about -3 or -4, and so would've been sweating that one out.

Early Saturday Results

Early Saturday Results

Former cruiserweight world title challenger Ola Afolabi (15-2-3, 6 KOs) rebounded from his loss to Marco Huck with a ten round unanimous decision over Sandro Siproshvili (24-7, 11 KOs). Scores were 97-93, 98-92, 100-90.

Unbeaten heavyweight contender Alexander Povetkin (20-0, 15 KOs) scored a fifth round KO over Teke Oruh (14-3-1, 6 KOs) on Saturday at the Olimpyskiy Sports Palace in Chekhov, Russia. A right hand laid out Oruh for the count at 2:57. In was a tune-up fight for the world-rated 2004 Olympic gold medalist, who is looking to get more experience before challenging for a world title.
