I took boxrec wager on Sharritzu @ -500.
Yeah I know it's a chalk but the fight is in Italy and he already beat the guy twice. Also his opponent has 15 wins and 15 losses an only 2 KOs. He is probably better than his record shows and Sharritsu (29/4/4) is probably worse but this fight should go full route and like I sad it's in Italy.
I took Hatton only after Zerwas pointed that the venue changed and the odds stayed the same. Thanks bro!

This is really good odds. Are you from UK? Because those sites not available to US.

I'm in Croatia but you're right, bet was placed in UK book. Odds looks good but I don't get refunded in case of a draw. Since this fight probably goes to scorecards if the French guy is better draw is possibility. Comparably thegreek odds -666 doesn't look bad for US guys.

I take a shot with Hatton. Overconfidence is never a good sign in a boxer thats what i thought when i saw Agbeko with his monkey outfit and thats what i think when i hear Lovemore talk.
Plus Lovemore probably couldnt spar as much as he wanted to because of a cut.
Plus this fight is in England
Plus fightwriter is picking Hatton
All of that for +250 ? Thank you sir.

Cotto by dec at 1000. I take some of that too.
Pac is fascinating but he didnt get hit with one good punch (against Hoya and Hatton) cotto lands one good counter the Pacman hype can be over faster than a lot of people believe. Sometimes timing beats speed hopefully it does on Saturday.

it`s about time we heard from you,bud...good point about the timing and manny`s recent walkovers...

roach is a tactical genius.....boxing and promotional-wise....he`s picking "great" fighters for manny to fight that are fairly well past their greatness...but,because manny`s stepping up in weight, people are forgetting that dlh and hatton were past their prime...

cotto is about the closest to being a live body, but,he also seems past his best days....may be past his best due to the margarito beating and the punishment inflicted by clottey...

but,i still think he`s very dangerous for manny..i hope theres some give and take...will be interesting to see how manny handles getting hit by a legit, hard punching bigger man...

I guess odds will be tomorrow

Curious to see where they set the Gomez-Soto Karass line.....

They've been making us wait, haven't they Ghost?

My guess right about -115/-115 in the Karass-Gomez fight. It's about as even as a fight gets...at least on paper. I've gone back and forth on this one many times...any strong thoughts?

Cotto is definetly a huge step-up from Oscar and Hatton, but then again Pacman didnt have much trouble with either...

@Fightwriter:
True, the cut doesnt help him either!

Anyone seen a line on Gomez vs. Karass?

What about the Hard Card from Vegas:

Rosales vs. Melligan
Rojas vs. Catubay
Z. Gorrez vs. Melendez

Or from the UK:

Norton (Hey, Ralphy boy) vs. Laleye
Butler vs. McDermott

5Dimes has Santos -190 Boreman +150

I can see it already. Manny wins and Cotto was damaged goods, etc. Cotto wins and Manny was in with a guy way too big for him. Cotto is about 80% of what he used to be, MAYBE! Pac is still fresh as a daisy, so folks say. Thing is besides the betting line, I'd say the sentiment is towards Pac-man to dominate. Therefore, if Cotto does win I'd say he deserves huge kudos, bigger guy or not. Roach wants this fight so no BS because Cotto was too big. Then don't make the fight. Roach thinks Pac is invincible. We'll see. I hope Cotto wins. Haven't put my $$$ where my mouth is yet.

Over 9.5 looks decent for Santos-Foreman.
But Foreman sustained a bad cut in his last fight in June - by now it should be all healed

I bet Santos-Alcine OVER 9.5 and Santos KO'ed him.
I bet Foreman-Bundrage OVER 9.5 and the cut occurred.

Do I dare try again with these two?

Foreman-Bundrage over 9.5 should be refund it was no action. 7 out of 8 last Formen fight went full distance and one that wasn't was no action. I think it should go full route, who knows will see soon.

FIGHT CANCELLED

FIGHT CANCELLED

Geez, Norton no longer fighting Laleye according to Boxrec. For a month he is fighting Laleye, then, 1 hour after lines get posted, he is not. Hopefully can be graded as no action before weekend gets going.

The fan in me is of course excited about the big show, but the capper sees many opportunities beforehand. I'm gonna take this weekend step by step, because there's alot going on.

First off, an excellent Friday card from the UK

I really like McDermott at -165. I think McD is a good fighter who lost to an excellent one - Barker, in his last fight. McD proved his worth in tough win over Bendall, who had just beaten P. Smith. Butler not so much...he has begun to show his limitations, even at the domestic level. Plus he can't punch. McD is 31, and knows his career is all but over if he drops this one. Butler is just 22, and can still chalk it up to experience.

I have McD straight up, and a good size parlay with Norton...who I now see has a different opponent.

Also, I just can't get myself to pull the trigger on Hatton. I agree he's got a shot, because of many reasons discussed on this forum, but at the end of the day I don't think it will be enough. N'Dou too tough.

Also good card Friday night, with Melligen vs. Rosales, etc. Will wait till after UK card to see.

Good luck my friends!!

Thanks for the clarification, Kramden. I'd like to see them explain how any wagers placed on this bout will promptly be graded as no action.

He was on The Contender. He is a STAR.
I remember him from the show. He was full of himself and loud mouth. I was rooting for somebody to shut him up.
I like how Ricky was polite about this mess, he is a good guy. But he shouldn't box no more. He already has JCCsr looks.

Also gonna go small on the McDermott-Butler UNDER 9.5 @ +285. Great number, and I think McD can rough Butler up enough to get him out of there.
