Thanks for sharing this is very interesting info you got on Bozic.
Just took Sartison @ -300 at 5d for 4u .
He is boxing against Bozic. I know for a fact that Bozic got a call 35 days before fight and than the whole show was moved to 1 week earlier giving him less than a month to train.
Bozic got a call in Vegas where he was living for a month or so and trying to get a non boxing related job. He has Intercontinental title but couldn't get a fight this year.
He is 35 and was not working out till he got a call. Since then he trains in some amateur club in Vegas with new trainer because he is not on speaking terms with his brother who used to train him. BTW His wife left him at the beginning of the year.
Two years ago I spoke with his old trainer after he got KO in 2 rds by Tsypko. He told me that Bozic went for broke from the start because he was scared of Russian because in the amateurs he learned to respect technique of eastern schooled boxers. Anyway, Bozic is intelligent guy and he knows that they pick him to lose, but in the ring he is too emotional and feather fisted to succeed on highest level.
He won?t stop the guy and he will not earn or get a decision.

I AM NOT LEAVING, I'M JUST NOT BETTING, ESPECIALLY ON MMA!!!! :scared

It gets to a bad stage in life when Kick is beating me when it comes to boxing bets :D

It's time for a break.

And Kick, that was a low blow using Fedor like that :thefinger
I would never use GSP to entice you :nono:

Good news on the well being of Z Gorrez. The guy was on the brink just 3 nights ago but appears he may be out of the woods. Obviously his career is over and he'll never lace em up again but he can walk into the sunset having won his last fight against a very tough customer not to mention having had a very successful career. Hopefully he'll go on to make a full recovery and live a full life with no ill effects. :toast: :toast: :toast:

More good news was reported on former world title challenger Z Gorres as he made more improvement today. While team members were talking words of encouragement to him he opened his left eye and managed to give uthe thumbs up sign with his right thumb. The nurse caring for Gorres stated he had done the same thing for her earlier which is a good sign. Fightnews will continue to give updates on the continued progress of Gorres. Gorres won a unanimous decision victory over Luis Melendez on Friday night in Las Vegas. Moments later he collapsed to the canvas and was taken on a stretcher to University Medical Center?s trauma unit where he underwent surgery to relieve pressure on his brain.

Geez Ghost; Shane looks like he has dentures and Berto does look well fed. I have NO clue on this one, but with a 9mm to my cranium, I go with the well fed puppie.

boxrec is still listing the fight, but according to badlefthook.com, Ishe Smith vs. Golovkin is off.

Saturday, November 21

ZDF, 5:15 p.m. Eastern, Giacobbe Fragomeni vs. Zsolt Erdei; Humberto Mauro Gutierrez vs. Vitali Tajbert; Dmitri Sartison vs. Stjepan Bozic. Officially, all three of these are title fights, although Gutierrez-Tajbert is for the interim title held by Humberto Soto, and Sartison-Bozic is for an invented title that came to be when Mikkel Kessler was recently promoted to "super" champion. Fragomeni, a 40 year old with a decent workrate but little power (sort of an Italian poor man's Glen Johnson) is probably the weakest of the cruiserweight titlists, and thus Universum is moving him up a weight class rather than having him face more popular stablemate (and now full light heavyweight titlist) Jurgen Braehmer. At the very least, Erdei's stranglehold on the light heavyweight lineal title is over, meaning that there can hopefully be some action to determine a real light heavyweight champ sometime in the near future (probably after Hopkins officially retires). Gennady Golovkin was also originally scheduled to face Ishe Smith on the card, but Smith got injured.
