I like over 11.5 on Erdei vs Fragomeni.

Not that it will have much bearing on the fight , but did you notice the fightnews pictures, Erdei was beat up a bit, some bruising/shiners, small cut I thought.. strange heading into a fight.. Erdei just might be the fat/happy family man, not totally comitted to boxing, moving up to cruiser...Frag should give him a hard time.... thought I read some joke of a quote of the top light heavies ducking him so he moved up :mj07:

World Title??

World Title??

We've known for years that the rating bodies are a joke... But they seem to be hitting new lows lately with all of these interim, ordinary, and regular champions.

I think we may have the worst 'world' title fight of all time this weekend, when Likar Ramos takes on Angel Granados.

A little perspective here... Granados is just 18-7, and has been ko'd 6 times, once to a guy who was 0-11 at the time, and finished his career at 4-25.

Ramos has been very protected, and still couldn't win them all... Of his 2 losses, one of them is to Walter Estrada, who I remember lasting 10 or 11 seconds with Y.Gamboa.

Can anyone think of a worse 'world' title fight than this?

I saw pics, I think it all will be healed till the fight night. Both have little power both very good defensively I think it will go distance.

The only question here is whether or not Maidana gets him out before 5.5.

Anyone see any odds on Sonsona-Hernandez?

Got scared away ...

Got scared away ...

it was up at sportsbook earlier

he was like -450 or -550

why they pull it off the board?

I think the books got scared away from that fight when one of the oddsmakers spotted an internet report earlier today that Sonsona apparently hasn't been as focused on this fight as he was for his title-winning fight.

I like Sartison, Kessler, and Fragomeni this weekend.

Fragomeni is very tough, and the natural cruiser vs. a guy who looked soft at LH. Erdei is the better natural boxer, but he has been ultra-protected as champ. D.Abron, G.Blades, D.Santiago, T.Mendoza?? This is a pitiful list of challengers, and if Universum feels the need to protect him to this extent, something is up. Fragomeni out-toughs Erdei here, who looks like he may have already suffered an ass-kicking in training.

Kessler I was going to stay away from, but as fight draws near I find myself leaning towards him. We know he is world-class...Ward may be, but I think this fight comes 1 or 2 too soon for him.

Old Dirty gave great info. on the Sartison fight. Just as odds suggest (-500), I think this fight is made for him to win.

I also think we should be counting seconds and not rounds in the Maidana fight. Gonzales has a glass jaw, which does not bode well here. 5.5 ain't much, but I think Maidana will be looking to impress on home soil...UNDER at -110.

Good luck!!

Yup, that's a big factor, especially considering the lack of power from both. Germany seems like the most difficult place these days to get a fair decision. Erdei is house fighter on Universum card as well... But I just get the impression that they are throwing Erdei to the wolves a little bit here. Hoping for the best but tired of stringing along a boring champ. I think/hope that the Italian will leave no doubt about who the winner is... I see him busting Erdei up.

Shane looks old and Berto looks fat

One Eureopean book offered the line with Mosley as -167 fav. I took Sugar for 2u. I think it is a good price. I don't see line offered any more though

Yeah that fight is a NO BET for me
I like Andrey's idea - the OVER is a play
but picking a winner or watching this fight - YUCK
Erdei by decision if I had to guess, but this one doesn't thrill me

Is Ishe fighting Saturday or not?
the fight is still on the board - I don't trust boxingtalk reporting.
