Hatton by KO is +375 at The Greek mate!!

We're on the same page :toast: I made that play at Greek about 5 min before seeing your post. It's a great line, good luck my man.

+375 is quite a good price!

I just rewatched rounds 8 and 10 of Hattons last fight and Laczano was actually able to get to Hatton quite a bit...

...maybe Paulie has a shot after all...

BTW, there are a lot of new lines at bodog.

Right now, nothing really jumped out to me....I'm still contemplating a play on Molitor...Domingo @+300 might be worth a shot, the fightwriter sees that as a very close fight...Tackie Matthew Hatton is a picke'em!

I guess Tackie is the better fighter, but if this fights goes to the scorecards...

Any serious thoughts about Hatton/Tackie? My worry is the promo pull, that Hatton gets a gift decision on his brother's undercard. I like Tackie at -110.

j gonzalez r lopez under 7.5? lopez tries to stand and fight, but he's not fighting an awkward, formless clubber, he's fighting a technician with ko power. I see him getting caught by counters in the 3rd, and dropping out around 5.

i see a similar result...unless gonzales gets on his toes, like he sometimes does....

lopez throws alot of wide punches......he can punch...but he seems to like to mix it up....

he`s not what i`d call a cutie...

i`d prefer this as parlay material but 5 dimes is late to the dance as thety seem to be of late....

so i may play under 7.5 small at oly -150..

anybody have an early opinion on froch/pascal.....pretty interesting fight...

I have heard only bad things about little Hatton's last performance

but Tackie is very very shopworn

in a fair fight, I still think Tackie has enough left to take this

but you called it NJ....they will do everything possible to give this to Matthew

I am probably going to stay away from this one

I LOVE Tackie for the win and the under. Hatton Jr is shite.

I have added a bunch of novelty bets for Friday.

Navarrete to beat Galada small at +600. I will try the guy with experience and no stoppage losses against the guy who has been fighting for 2 years.

Santos to beat Tavecchio small at +600. This is a chick fight. Santos is undefeated but has fought shit competition. Tavecchio is undefeated as well but has only had 4 fights at 35 years old. This is a 10 rounder and none of them have been past 6 so, you never know.
This brings me to my next bet.

Santos/Tavecchio under 9 1/2 rounds at +200 very small.
Tavecchio has stopped 3 out of 4 opponents and both have yet to go 10 rounds.

Menzer to beat Salles miniscule at +2500. How can I not bet $20 on this? It's a chick fight. Cut's and shit happens.

If the odds stay near even, I will max out on Tackie as many times as I can.

Good luck all!!! :toast:

LOL

OK Wee you've convinced me to throw down a little....i was leaning Tackie anyway

In South Africa I am taking:

Cecilio Santos (even) over the green South African....Santos has fought WAY better guys...comp is not even close

Joyi under 8.5....the South African can punch and Trejo has been stopped a bunch of times....

good luck fellas

thanks for sharing your opinions guys. Im keeping my medium Tackie bet, hopefully he wins decisively to take the judges out.

Still have a small/med play on Gonzalez under, especially after watching Lopez fight De Leon. If he tries that same gameplan vs Gonzalez he might drop in 2.

dwyer is high on Froch to beat Pascal, I only saw one line up and it was I think -350 Froch, too high for me. You should check out his youtube video pick.

weepaul, you're the king of finding obscure novelty bets, and they hit big for you often. Good luck tomorrow. You have some support on Santos and Navarette, the spreads between fav and dog are -300 in each fight, which is crazy for Pinnacle. Money has been coming in on the dog.

Kirkland-Vera; 11/22/2008

Kirkland-Vera; 11/22/2008

My play is UNDER 6.5-185. Kirkliand only fought 2 rds last time out. He is still full of piss and vinegar and from what I see, Vera is too slow and not that devastating a puncher to keep him off. I saw what he did to Andy Lee true. Kirkland is the definitive wrecking ball of boxing. Until he gets stopped/hurt he will just keep going full tilt. I was in Primm when he wrecked his last victim there. Now we are at the MGM on HBO, so ba-da-bing!

NJ great call on Johnny Gonz....my bet is that he crushes Reynaldo inside 5 rounds...BIG on that one

Frankie one thing worries my about the Kirkland fight....they are listing it as a middleweight scrap

that means James is moving up 6 pounds....and Vera has fought as high as 68

that being said, I still think someone goes to sleep before 6 rounds

the UNDER for me as well :toast:

Yes. I am aware of the weight factor. Kirkland only knows one way to fight. I just don't think Vera has the tools to remove Kirkland from his senses; also, Kirkland got rocked a # of times, and recovered. His recklessness will be his undoing, but I don't think it will be this time. Will probably take PM 1st 3+1.5-Lederman, and maybe by sd or some such animal. GL in your investments this w/e.

Here's where I stand today:

Gonzalez-Lopez under 7.5 LARGE
Marsh-Dean over 9.5 LARGE
Molitor straight MEDIUM

in South Africa

Joyi under and C. Santos both SMALL

Rocha fight got cancelled on Telefutura

a little nervous about my Marsh-Dean play because I just read Dean got dropped early the last time they fought...

I still think this makes it to the cards today

good luck this weekend crew

thanks for the heads-up weepaul, I took the under and am adding that as well. edit - doh! missed it, dropped to +400.

There is a thread at the boxrec forums about Hatton's weight, it looks as if the rumours of him being out of shape aren't true. Recent articles sound good, though they are UK based, and in a pic that is supposedly taken last week, he looks great.

Hitman!
