Lebedev wins 120-108 across the board.

He had dead man walking in Toney and didn't press the gas enough to get him out. Looked close to doing so in the 10th but let him off again.

Com'n Denis you gotta press when you got a guy like that in front of you. I think Denis might be too nice a guy. Didn't seem to want to embarrass TOney too much. I don't know why with how Toney treated everyone.

Tony looked flabby at 199, but today, wow! Is it possible to gain 20 pounds of blubber overnight?

ain't no one knocking out james toney

peopel on other sites were talking like the stoppage was a foregone conclusion....and after it took lebedev 10 rounds to get rid of jones?...

toney looked like his feet were dipped in cement...his balance was terrible....his hands were slow.....

but his defense was still pretty sharp...and lebedev was leery enough to not get careless...

but i agree with thongee and box....toney is still tough to dispatch....the man is done, but he still has enormous pride...

Toney is hard to stop but Lebedev was cautious beyond belief. I really thought he's step it up much more. In the 10th Toney was almost done and i think he wanted to quit in his corner but Buddy urged him on. But Denis, for whatever reason, decelerated in the 11th round. Really thought he'd fight like he wanted a KO, especially late in the bout. If Toney was ripe for the taking, it was on this night but Denis never really tried for it, although he almost got it "accidentally."

i honestly never thought he was in trouble...he did alot of stumbling, but his balance was shit the whole fight...every time he bent over, lebedev was lost regarding how to attack....a small thing but one of toney`s tricks...

wasn`t lebedev`s finest moment,either......

Lebedev/Toney fight was a joke. Toney had trouble just keeping his balance, he is 10 years past his expiry date. Don't know why people even get hyped at all for these circus type matchups.

btw - Bundu gets the UD in Florence.

Yeah, true, not in great trouble except a bit in the 9th. when Toney looked exhausted and seemed like he wanted to quit. But Lebedev didn't press much after that.

And, yes, Lebedev didn't seem to know what to do when Toney bent straight over. Shoulda hit him in the back of the head. You figure he could have figured an alternative since Toney did the same thing over and over and wasn't doing much back.

i wonder if toney knew,in his own mind, that he was basically out there with prectically no way to win...did he understand how far his reflexes and skills had eroded?.....

or did he delude himself into thinking that he could actually do some good work vs lebedev?...

going through the training, making weight....i have to believe that he actually thought he could compete....

i don`t regret taking the +450 shot small...sorry i didn`t jump harder on the over 9.5 par....i was getting flashbacks to tarver and danny green.....i`m still kicking my ass for not going to the mat with tarver vs green..i touched it...but not nearly hard enough.....that i seriously regret...

Well done sir

With all the other action this week I didn't even bother looking at the Bundu fight until I saw your post. The logic was sound and the price was right so I tailed you on it. Thanks for the winner, you're obviously a solid addition to this forum, keep posting my man
