Just cruising through the lines this morning and was struck by the Wolak/Rodriguez line. I remember watching this fight live earlier this year and I thought Delvin did enough to win. Was a pro Pole crowd though so he didn't get the decision but in my view he was doing excellent work on his combinations and Wolak was lucky it wasn't a 12 round affair.

Sort of reminded me of the Juan Diaz / Marquez fight. Wolak's relentless and work rate did enough to impress the judges I guess but as the fight wore on Rodriguez was hitting Wolak at will and was by far the more effective fighter. Wolak was pure heart/effort but not a lot of skill. With the experience of the prior fight Rodriguez should be able to clearly outbox Wolak from round one and I wouldn't be surprised if another bad cut emerges on Wolak and the fight doesn't go the distance.

There is no doubt in my mind Rodriguez should be favored here.

fyi - heads up with 5dimes and the props on this fight. I remember the post from gardenweasel describing how they screwed him on the inside the distance bet because they mistakenly had 12 rounds listed under their to go the distance props.

Well they have the "12 round decision" props listed incorrectly again. So if history repeats you can only lose money in the props and at best get your money back.

Helenius wins by points....

He said he broke his right hand in the first round and had to be careful with it.

I just called them and told them to correct it. We'll see!

Anselmo Moreno/Vic Darchinyan Under 10? +180 (double pop)

I lot of people are picking Moreno and I can see why - guy is an accomplished boxer. I just think that Vic is going to present huge problems for him. I can see Moreno winning first few rounds and then Darc going into his famous "destroyer mode" because I do not think Moreno has enough firepower to keep him honest.
