Victoria's Secret
Anselmo Moreno/Vic Darchinyan Under 10? +180 (double pop)

I lot of people are picking Moreno and I can see why - guy is an accomplished boxer. I just think that Vic is going to present huge problems for him. I can see Moreno winning first few rounds and then Darc going into his famous "destroyer mode" because I do not think Moreno has enough firepower to keep him honest.

went with vic

dont see no arm punchers beating vic

mijares style much like moreno

and moreno first bout under golden boy banner, there usually some kind of jinx

Box news:

Box news:

1) Alexander Povetkin vs Huck in negotiation. :popcorn2

2) Sauerland to negotiate a rematch: Helenius vs Chisora after the mandatory defense against Dimitrenko.

Chisora should have been called draw at least, or a split win at best for him. The ref totally took Chisora off his game. I don't think I have ever seen so many warnings from a ref for imaginary transgressions. Helenius did a lot of the same things, such as pushing off, and nothing! Total bull shit. That prick must have went to the same ref "school" as Russell Mora.

Agree with you:

think I got a little lucky with Helenius, but he was on homeground, so I expected it to be a close decision for him or a Draw... on neutral ground Chisora would have won.

I'm not done yet! The more I think about this, the more it irritates. At one point in the fight, after the "ref" had finished calling Chisora for another phantom foul, he actually looked away from the fighters into the seats, and then scratched his head! Like looking to whomever was pulling his strings, and wondering what foul can I call now? At this time Chisora was tagging Helenius cleanly. What a farce. Sickening.

congrats cotto backers

I guess that must mean me? because I was the only Cotto backer here in Margaritoville. I did my best to try and convert the sinners, but to no avail. This must be what Jesus felt like.

I just don't get why there is no post fight discussion on one of the biggest fights of the year?

I just don't get why there is no post fight discussion on one of the biggest fights of the year?

Here, I'll kick it off.

I forget who made the post, but it read:

I don't see how this fight will be any different than the first.

In an attempt to try and correct misinformation and hopefully help poster avoid losing money, I tried to mention one of the two glaring reasons why this fight would end differently, but was met with a brick wall. I didn't even get to bring up the second reason, in fact nobody has even mentioned it in this thread. Elephant in the room.

Let's address the first reason, the eye. It was a problem by the third round and ended up being the reason the fight ended. This really wasn't that hard to see coming. But you would think I'm talking to Elie Seckbach in this thread or something. "Doctors robbed Margarito. He faked the swelling so Cotto would punch himself out. Reportinnnnng."

Shit, this isn't even to mention the hand wrap issue. Anyone who didn't think Margarito used illegal wraps in the first Cotto fight is a damn fool. So, one would think the absence of those illegal wraps would have an effect on the outcome of this fight, no? I wonder why Cotto's face wasn't swollen, I wonder why those digs to the body didn't take anything out him like they did in the first fight? hmmmm.

Cotto's movement is far worse now than before

in the 24/7 episodes, trainer Robert Garcia is shown asking all of Margarito's sparring partners to repeatedly target his eye w/ left hooks, as that is what he anticipates Cotto doing

If was thinking to myself how pointless this was when I read it. Especially considering Margarito didn't even bother to keep his hand up, he just ate shots chasing Cotto around the ring. He probably shouldn't have even sparred, just did more damage to his eye.

Maybe it might be a good idea to avoid using 24/7 as a handicapping tool.

I took Cotto before this eye business ever came up, thats why I said people must be nuts to take margarito now. Cotto would have whooped him even if the eye wasn't an issue

Worst part about it is that moronic sycophants like Weasel chime in like a fly to shit with their endorsements. Let me ask you Weasel, were you truly interested in providing he forum with accurate information? Or did you already like Margarito for a while now but were to much of a coward to spin your own fairy tale about why he will win?

rios itd/arron/helenius at roughly even money(hedged with murray at +775...c`mon hedge)....

agbeko +125 sportsbook

margarito+180 5 dimes

jones/lujan over 9.5 -160 small...

Don't think you're getting off the hook for your bullshit. You Weasel mudda fuckka you.

What good does it do to past post plays Weasel? I just don't understand how it helps anyone win? Oh wait, it's not to help people, it's just you whipping out your pecker for the imminent circle jerk. What happened Weasel?

I don't want to disappoint you, this won't be a circle jerk, but I will still do you the honor of unfurling my endowment. Now open wide and taste the golden stream!

:mj12: :mj12: :mj12: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

This was piss poor handicapping by you, Weasel. How can you "hedge" a parlay in which you haven't won a single leg of? What happened did you just end up losing both plays?

You really shouldn't fade LotL, Weasel. You don't know shit about handicapping, math, or odds. I know this because of all your 10pt "insurance" teasers you keep posting  You tease 8 point dogs up to 18.

Funny how you don't keep a record of these teasers. I can track it for you, believe me, it's abysmal. What's even more funny is that if you bet every side in those teasers straight up, you would have made a nice profit :mj07:

You truly cannot handicap worse than this, and that's not an exaggeration. The books created those teasers for stooges like you. Those extra points must be like crack for someone who hedges what he's having for breakfast in the morning.

So, obviously your "hedges" have no +EV (and if they did it would be purely by accident because you don't even understand the concept). That is why a suggest you keep a record, in the interest of not leading other posters astray.

Solid effort from Cotto winning virtually every round but I can't support this guy as a fighter. He ran more and engaged less than Paulie Malignaggi. I mean its a little ridiculous how a he gets on his bike and literally runs for his life in there.
