Slight correction brother and I know this is probably copied from something else but Camp Lejeune is a Marine Corps Base. Biggest on the East Coast. This probably only matters to Marines but it matters. :toast:

I would say, because Rogan had hurt him badly a couple of times and seemed on his way to the win and the fight is in Belfast, Rogan's hometown.

Vasquez/Marquez IV possibly for Feb. Got to say I have NO desire to see these guys brutalize each other for 1 more minute. They had 3 classics and neither will ever be the same. Vasq just scraped by a journeyman 2 weeks ago. Somebody has to consider their health and well being before making these decisions. I wish them both the best but I hope it doesn't come off. Ride off into the sunset with your marbles intact, if that's even possible at this stage.

Rogan-Sexton is a tossup . If Rogan rushes in like a bull he will run into counters and get marked up once more.

I have a medium play on Sexton at +325 and it gives me a gazillion hedge possibilities.

A lot of interesting fights this week...

I already have some double chances and I hope that I will get some nice lines on draws...

Let's wait and see I hope that the under/over on Rogan-Sexton will be out soon :0corn

Here here... As a promoter, I certainly wouldn't make the fight. That said I'll probably not only watch it, but wager as well... I am what I am. :D

In all seriousness though, I think it absolutely reaches a point when the fighter's health has to over rule. This can't be determined with blanket laws, but has to be considered on an individual basis...because every fighter has indiividual circumstances. I think this fight is a great example of why not to make a fight... I mean, do we really need to see it for a fourth time? Of course not. There are dozens of other interesting fights to be made.

Anyone else think the Dawson-Johnson odds are set too wide? The fight was essentially a draw last time, Bad Chad may have taken it by a round or so, but not 116-112 across the board. It was undoubtedly Dawson's toughest fight, this including Adamek. Since their first fight, Dawson has slapped around Tarver a couple times, whereas Johnson has been cruising along in usual style... I'm leaining Dawson's way, but I see him as minus 2 or 2.5 max. Won't touch it at current price.

Dawson only got wiser since their first fight IMO where Johnson is very unlikely to improve anymore being 40 doesn't help much here either .

Dawson recently said, "I want to leave no doubt with him, his team or the judges. If it goes 12 rounds, I want a unanimous, unanimous decision. I?m ready to take on Johnson and put to rest this idea that he should have won the last fight.?

I think Sexton, Road Warrior Glen, and the Giant Valuev are all live. But the more I look at the fights, the more I get the sense the favorites might all hold serve.

Rogan basically was robbed of a KO win in the first fight (despite Sexton boxing beautifully until he was hurt).

Johnson is only older now. The fight is in Dawson territory. And yes, Chad has likely learned from the first encounter. I think the Road Warrior needs a KO to win.

Valuev may have the best shot of the 3. David could score enough and win on points (he should watch the Chagaev tape). Valuev has been impressive (Barrett) and dreadful (Holyfield). Hard to tell which giant shows up.

I am still thinking these over.

Apparently, Zab's opponent has changed to
to Ubaldo Hernandez, whose record stands at 22 wins, 19 losses. Hernandez has not fought in 24 months.

I guess Adailton De Jesus (22-4) was too much of a threat.

On the right side of the fightnews.com homepage, they are listing Valuev vs. Haye as "LIVE ON PPV"
This is the first I have heard of this - I guess people outside of Germany and the U.K. will have a way to see it.
