Hey Romi... Nice capping on the over/unders.

Garcia under, Coleman over, Balzsay (or should I say Gutknecht?) over.

All seem like no brainers after the fact. Not to suggest that you don't have a brain or anything. Quite the contrary...

Good capping my man!!

I think Ghost was on alot of those too, maybe some other guys...so congrats all around.

Appreciate the kind words Quanah but all respect and props go to you this week. You have hit some VERY nice dog plays. Awesome job man. Despite being snake bit there on some questionable calls, you have been an excellent addition to this site.

Saturday picks:

Khan-Salita UNDER 9.5 (-150) - large Khan is not going to dick around with this guy. After such a solid performance against Kotelnik, he will be looking to start building a reputation. Salita is not in his class, and has also been dropped heavy by R.Montano and R.Frankel - neither one of which can crack an egg with their best punch. Together they have 44 wins - with 6 big ko's between them. Statement fight for Khan, and will not last long at all.

Kevin Mitchell (-120) - large Bredis Prescott is overrated...big time. His entire rep. is built on that one punch, which is magnified in England. Prescott has consistently struggled against marginal competition, and showed his limitations in dropping last fight to M.Vasquez. Mitchell is a younger developing talent, and from what I have seen pretty quick with some sharp punches. He will outclass Prescott here.

One more huge pick on Sat. night to come. :SIB

Holly Holm (26-1-3, 7 KOs) finished the night with another victory, but it wasn?t over Melissa ?Huracan? Hernandez. Tonight at Isleta Casino & Resort, shortly before the main event was scheduled to go, Hernandez bailed out on her pound-for-pound showdown with Holm, fleeing the building with the excuse that that she would not fight, her corner not having seen Holm wrap her hands. Despite not having been available during Holm?s hand-wrapping, and regardless of offers to re-wrap, Hernandez took her gear and fled. Replacing Hernandez on a literal last-minute, Victoria Cisneros (3-8-2) stepped in to fight Holm. Though losing virtually every round, Cisneros gave a game performance, to lose with scores of 100-90 and 99-91 twice.

You can get Khan by stoppage or DQ at -120.

Salita is shit!!!

Khan within 3 rounds!!!

Need a bounce back in boxing after Molina massacre , hopefully Khan doesn't crap his pants , this smells like a clear KO win for him .

hmmm... form my point of view, it is maybe better to take the under 9,5 at -110, ...if Kahn would be shot you woulbe be "safer"... but I do not think that he is...

Danny ?Green Machine? Green +285 - Medium - WIN

Tim Coleman +300 - Very Small - WIN

Arreola vs Minto Under 7.5 -145 -Medium
Arreola just has too much power for Minto who will be there to be hit. Minto has a decent chin, but Arreola will be focused and looking to make a statement that he is still a contender.

Witherspoon vs Thompson Over 9.5 -120 -Medium
This will be a jab fest with a high punch volume by each man. I favor Tony because of talent and facing better opposition, but Witherspoon throws 60+ punches a round as opposed to Tony with about 40+. The judges might award volume, not accurary.

Khan-Salita UNDER 9.5 -150- Medium
Salita is susceptible to average boxer's power early in fights. Khan has good speed and power to catch Salita early in rounds 1-3 for a one punch KO. If not, Khan will still stop him by accumulation of damage, but I think this one is over within 4 rounds. Khan is a class above Salita in every category.

Kevin Mitchell -115 -Small
I know little about Mitchell, except that he was an amatuer champion, he is fast and throws good combinations. I am making this play because Prescott's is a wild swinger with poor fundmentals and can be outboxed.

Paul Williams vs Sergio Gabriel Martinez Over 9.5 -170-Medium
Maritnez is a great boxer with good footwork and is hard to hit clean. Williams is a high volume puncher that rarely throws with power unless he is against a flat-footed fighter like Winky. Both guys have great endurance and look to be in terrific shape. I see this one going the full 12 and 15 if they wanted to go old school.

Good Luck Guys! :00x2

Euri Gonzalez wins MD over Cosme Rivera

Judge Mike Ross saw the bout even at 114-114, but was overruled by Mark Streisand and Joseph O?Leary, both of whom scored the bout 115-113 in favor of Gonzalez, who improves to 20-1-1 (14KO).

Just watched a replay of the Carson Jones - Tyrone Brunson fight

I LOVED during the ref's instructions, Jones taking a page out of Antonio Tarver's book:

"Hope you are ready, baby. You're fighting a real fighter tonight"

AMEN.

Big picks comin'... What do you like tomorrow?

I'm on

Huck-LRGE

Khan-med

Khan under-med

I like a few others but have so much on Huck that I'm leaving them alone...for now. I liked CA to stop Minto but his weight is a disgrace so no bet for me. Your's and Matt's picks look pretty solid with sound reasoning. Good luck!

"the bunker"
prescott doesn`t impress me other than the fact that he has a puncher`s chance vs anyone.....

and he has a 3 inch height advantage here...that scares me....

so i might just par mitchell(now the dog) with the khan under....no need to overextend here...

btw,why is the khan under so reasonable?...it`s a double edged sword...not just salita, but, khan could get whacked again......

Last week I made a stupid-big play on Guzman, and made a pact to never bet again after the draw. One week later Im making an even stupider and bigger plan on Khan won't go, under, and 1-6

weepaul knows Khan like the palm of his masturbating hand, so I'm on board. Good luck guys.

After reading some previews and re-watching Martinez, I don't think he can beat Williams, so no play. I also don't like Minto.

All in on the Con-man.

Brunson vs. Carson was a head scratcher. Brunson has fast hands, a trip hammer jab and some power.

But his resistance once things became less than perfect makes Bruce Seldon look like George Chuvalo by comparison.

Talk about folding up your tent and closing up shop, wow!

I'd say a lot of that was mental but it's obvious in spite of his conspicuous assets, speed, physique, etc, his less conspicuous attributes are obviously vastly sub par.

Tony Thompson fan

Tony Thompson fan

Saturday night play:

Tony Thompson (-115) - XXL Odds have moved now... So, I am a big Tony Thompson fan. Bet you didn 't know there was such a thing...but there is. Tony Thompson has won me more money than any other fighter. Remember that $100,000 heavy tourney? I had M.Harris and then Thompson a very long odds. They met in the final, which Harris won - but if fight was 1 more round Thompson was gonna KO him. He was the best fighter in that tourney and I knew he had potential.

I won huge on him against D.Guinn at +250 or thereabouts. Huge against T.Ibragimov at -200. And HUGE against Krasniqi at +200. Against Klitschko, I had all these long shot parlays anchored by Thompson. If he would of won, it would've been a Jackpot for me.. He did not of course, Klitschko was just a little better all-around...but I thought Thompson fought well. After 5 rounds it was still a fair fight, and Klitschko was definitely tired at end. Thompson did much better than any other recent challenger.

Thompson is tall, rangy, athletic, good jab, 6-5 250 with a better punch than people think. He is also still focused - as he looks in good shape. He is a laid back guy, but always comes in ready.

Thompson is better than Witherspoon in every category... And Witherspoon came in out of shape. This fight will not be close.
