There is a clip of him on youtube.

He's a quick, technically sound fighter with good upperbody movement...pretty slick actually.

I guess he's also pretty clever and reliable...even though thats hard to say from the short clip...

He doesnt seem like a terribly hard puncher though and what concerns me most is that he slowed down quite a bit in the last round (round 6 actually).

I guess he gets it done against Javier, probably by decision....

Javier is as crafty as they come, but this is SO LONG out of the ring for a guy his age

he was old a few years ago
I will be surprised if the old warrior can win this
The Russian looks pretty good

Noticed he commits quite a bit and seems a fearsomne bodypuncher , that should be good against an aging Jaregui, he looked a little soft at 135...

His form certainly looks good from the video. My concern is how is he going to perform in deep waters? This kid, win or lose, is much better than John Molina. I wasn't aware Roach was working with him. That certainly makes me more confident of the Ruskies chances. I'm sure roach is preparing him for 10 rds. He needs to keep a steady yet measured pace. He looked a bit winded on the youtube footage after 6. If he goes for a stoppage then Juaregui certainly has a chance to drown him in the latter rds. That being said I'm on the Ruskie. I think Juaregui will need a stoppage to pull it out.

THX for the link Ghost!!!

I'm also on the over for Morel/Penn -210 10 1/2.

Also have the over on Santiago/Concepcion 9 1/2 +110. Good luck Gents!!!

"the bunker"
2 Parlay Provodnikov -275 + Concepcion -185 (=+110) -Large
Jauregui is not a hard puncher now and at the very least he will get out worked and out hustled. Concepion will be looking to make a statement coming of a DQ loss to Luevano. In this fight, Bernabe looked great but got greedy and punched after the bell. Santiago throws mainly his left jab and drops his hand, so he is open for the left hook and Bernabe throws a good one. I see Bernabe breaking Santiago, down with the hard rights to the body and left hooks to the chin for a TKO in 8.

Mitchell Vs Mendoza Under 9.5 -115 - Medium
Mitchell is a very ambitious guy who wants his fame and fortune ASAP. He is a finisher and has shown good power with his left hooks upstairs and his great bodywork. Also, he demostartes good footwork to step into his shots. His next opponent, Mendoza, doe not have a chin like Prescott's and does not have the height and reach advantage. Also, Mendoza, is inexperienced and has consistently failed when he fights above the D & C level boxers. Too much Mitchell here and I see this one ending 5-7 rounds.

Concepcion Vs Santiago Under 9.5 -125 - Medium

Good Luck Guys!

what`s your thinking on the concepcion/santiago under?........was thinking of going the other way and would like to hear a contrary rationale...

you`ve been going pretty good lately and i don`t want to buck the hot hand...

thanks much...:toast:

You didn't ask me Weas but I wagered the over. I see it as a very tough close fight. I think these guys will be wailing on each other so the under is a definate possibility. However, I like the over when both fighters have never been stopped or seriously hurt, evenly matched, and it's a + wager. I could be wrong but I don't think either has been hurt badly in any fight. Concep makes me a little nervous as he threw a very late punch and was rightfully dq'd v Lueveno. I'm hoping that was just a one time brain fart on his part and that he didn't throw it out of frustration. I would also like to get Matt's take on his pick. Good luck to both of you!

I've watched like 6 weeks of those british Friday cards and favorite seems always to struggle . Really makes me want to start with betting on Cook and then lay off during the fight after around 4-5 rounds . I think Cook will start well there and odds will go up on Daws .

I think this is a very smart approach.
I don't have the benefit of live play on all the UK bouts, but I think starting small on the big dog gives you room to move during the first couple rounds. As long as nobody gets iced right away.
