"An attractive world championship doubleheader on March 26 featuring cruiserweights Steve Cunningham vs. Matt Godfrey for the vacant IBF title and IBF jr middleweight champion Cory Spinks against Cornelius Bundrage has been postponed. The Don King Productions card was to be televised on ESPN2 and take place at the Treasure Island Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas."

Wonder why?

This is why DK's fighters are so inactive. DK is known in the industry to be an ultra-difficult guy to deal with in negotiations. People just get worn down by all the sticking points (who has the international TV rights is apparently always a tricky negotiating point with DK). The ESPN suits probably just gave up and thought: "F--k it, we don't need this."

Wlad likes his little spinner. Good for easy maneuverability. Endless possibilities.

Hopefully she'll be spinning on him well into morning hours of March 20th.

"the bunker"
One-dimensional Pacman bores Mayweather Jr:

"I think Pacquiao got exposed in that fight for being one-dimensional. You can have all the offense ability in the world, but with no defense, you?re not going to last long against a good counter puncher such as myself," Floyd Mayweather Jr. said.

"When was the last time you?ve seen my face all messed up like that?."

"At least when you watch Floyd Mayweather Jr., you know you?ll be seeing non-stop action for 30 minutes straight," said Mayweather.

as a mayweather defender,even i had to gag a little hearing mayweather call himself a "non-stop action fighter"....master tactician?...defensive wizard?...excellent counter puncher?...yeah,i`d say so...but"non stop action fighter"?..

unh unh...

Good schedule!

I'm really looking forward to the Wladimir Chambers fight!

It has been a long time since Wlad fought....or so it seems...his brother is certainly more active.

I would like to hear some opinions on Walker vs. Banks, sportingbet has some lines already, but I'm aware that punchy made a very good point about not giving away too much!

Since odds are out now, I would like to respond your post Zerwas.

My thoughts are this:

Jonathan Banks is pure shit. He sucks. He barely beat Javier Mora. He doesn't belong at heavyweight, but he is too lazy to get down to cruiser anymore. HE WILL NEVER be heavyweight champ. NEVER.

Travis Walker sucks too. Horrible chin and he really let me down last fight, getting iced in 1 round by Quezada. But he had Arreola badly hurt - dude can punch FOR SURE.

Whoever lands the biggest punch first will win. Banks chin ain't much better than Walkers. This is a total coin flip. Perhaps Walker, knowing this is his last shot to do anything in boxing, will come in below 260 pounds and blast him out of there.

I took Walker at +270 and I will just hope for the best. I wouldn't be surprised either way on this one. And, in my mind, that makes the plus number a good play.

My plays so far this week...

My plays so far this week...

Latimore vs Powell Over 8.5 -120 - Medium

Klitschko vs Chambers Over 10.5 -120 - Medium

Also, looking at underdogs Bailey, Powell, and Walker for possible upsets.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Good Luck Guys!

Interview with Powell from www.braggingrightscorner.com:

BRC: Shortly after your loss to Latimore we conducted an interview with Sergio Mora and he said he was happy you were knocked out. Is there some personal history between the two of you?

SP: Sergio Mora is the biggest clown in Boxing. He should wear a big red nose and big red shoes with a powdered face and everything else. I don?t see how anyone can take him seriously. He?s no ?Latin Snake,? he?s a joke. We fought in the Olympic trials and he kept head butting me so I picked him up and body slammed him and he stayed on the canvas like a little girl. He could have got up but he knew if he stayed down that I would have got disqualified. He stayed down and cried about his shoulder. He has been a joke since 1998 and he does not want anything to do with me. Now that his career is flat like a pancake he should go work at Home Depot and do something constructive.

Good Luck Guys!

Everyone seems to have a reasonable shot, but at the same time I think all those fights are very unpredictable.

Powell tested positive for marijuana after the first fight. He said in a recent interview that he took Latimore lightly...well, he looked a bit stoned to me during the fight... ;-)

I havent seen any footage of his last fights, but I guess if he has really rededicated himself, he has a good shot!!

Bailey looks to have a lot of advantages in this saturdays fight (better technique, more one punch power). I wonder how he looks at 147 lbs?
Is there anybody who watched his last figh!?
I'm slightly leaning towards Bailey!

As for Banks Walker, I pretty much agree with everything Ghost wrote! Both are very unreliable, but IMO Walker is a bit worse. The ko loss to Quezeda indeed looked a bit alarming to me. Quezeda is not a great puncher (unlike Arreola) but he knocked him straight out in the very first round. He's been fighting @ 250-260 lbs since, which is much too high and certainly not a good sign.
In fight like this, its usually the best not to bet at all or to go with the +odds.
I get the feeling though that (unless Walkers weigh is really good) Banks should win this fight.

Jr middleweight Deandre ?The Bull? Latimore (left) weighed in at 153.75 for his much anticipated rematch with Sechew Powell, who scaled in at 152. The IBF jr middleweight eliminator will take place on Friday night at the Choctaw Gaming Center in Durant, Oklahoma.

Anybody know why Klit shot up to -1000? I'm assuming Chambers came in heavy for the line to move that much.

Someone must have bet $100 at 5dimes which caused the massive spike.
