Sechew Powell was - 1300 favorite in the first bout against Latimore :scared
Interesting that over/under was priced the same as this one but was a 10 rounder and not a 12 like this one tomorrow .

Hey guy's what's up...

Different kind of week for me. We'll see where the chips fall. I took Odlanier Solis (-800) straight up for what I could, along with a parlay with he and Lindsay for the same. Solis at -800 is a gift, as this fight is little more than an exhibition. I also consider Lindsay a very solid favorite. Still long odds here, but I did this to hopefully give myself a little buffer... because I like a slew of dogs.

A medium rare play on each of these guys:

Eddie Chambers I am very intrigued by this fight. Alot of love for Chambers on the forum. My feeling is that he's got a very good chance to pull of what would have to be considered a major upset. Chambers performance against Klitschko prototype Dimitrenkno was exceptional. Now, I know Dimi is not Wlad, but Chambers looked very strong and determined, backing up the giant all night. If he can elevate that performance just a little bit... Coming in at 208lbs was great for him, and he needs to do this again here.

Wlad is very well trained now, but he still fights with caution and is at times mechanical. He fights a little scared, because he knows he's got that chin issue. Wlad hasn't had a meaningful fight in quite a while. I think Chambers has the natural ability and fighter's instinct to make Wlad uncomfortable in there.

Imagine a 208lb Philly fighter knocking off Wlad? At +500 or better, I think Fast Eddie is worth a play.

Travis Walker For precisely the reasons Ghost Kid offered.

Randall Bailey Toss-up fight, so it was nice to see Bailey @+185. I can really envision Bailey landing that jackhammer down the pike. Bonsu has been down and hurt many times. I also think Bailey is the more technically solid guy. Fight on Bonsu's home turf, but I don't think it will matter.

Jamie McDonnell The closer I looked at this fight, the more I like McDonnell. Arnould has beaten no one at all, and worse his record is littered with fraud-type imports. I thought McDonnell lost a close fight to Ian Napa last time out, but this was also a good indicator of McD's ability. I think this fight will give him valuable experience here. UK fighters on a general higher level then French guys. Fight in France could prove controvesial, but at +300 I'll take a shot on McD

And if all that ain't enough, I also went medium rare on the Lindsay-Arthur UNDER 9.5 (+120) Arthur has been iced a couple of times by lesser men. I think Lindsay is a fighter going places. He is punching harder, as KO against hot prospect Appleby indicates. I don't think Arthur has what it takes to hang in there.

All right guy's
Good luck!!!!!!

Thanks for the weigh-in pics Brain
Eddie looks just OK
Wlad is a monster

I think Powell, McDonnell, Walker, and Bailey all have shots! I wouldn't be surprised if 1 or 2 of these guys pulled it off.

Weird weekend. Probably just small shots for me on these.

Like Quanah, I did use Lindsay for a parlay.

"the bunker"
i really like chambers as a fighter...and he`s fighting the right klitschko....but he just doesn`t have the pop to get this done....

he ain`t out-pointing klitschko....and i`d be shocked if he stopped him(short of a cut or an injury)....

just plain too much size and length...(o.k...it`s no revelation given the odds...not exactly goin` out on a limb here.)..

chambers is my kind of fighter....he can stand in the pocket and make most guys look bad..but he`s smallish and not a big puncher(one that can equalize things with one or two shots)......

sometimes you can`t teach or learn the answers to overwhelming physical disadvantages....especially when the one with all the advantages is also very coordinated and as talented and athletic as the klits...

209lbs for Chambers. That's good! I think he has given himself his best chance to win with that weight.

Anybody have the weigh in numbers for Banks/Walker?

Like a few here thinking Walker can do the business. Banks can look good when he actually is busy but in this "first to connect" type fight it doesn't bode well. Stepping up to a real heavy with power seems dangerous.

I agree with your take. I parlayed lind and solis for -490. Not great but will be rather surprised to see it not hit. VERY quiet week. I have that wager and 2 overs on Klit. Not overly confident of those. A few rt hands by chambers will change that line of thinking though. My quietest weeks in a few months. Perhaps I'll take one of the doggies later on...Good luck everybody!

Chambers weight seems OK but the question is will this really be in his advantage with Wladimir being 35 lbs heavier with his reach and jab + 35 lbs on him . Only once Wlady has fought someone lighter than that weight and in this case lower might not be better . I have a feeling Chambers will get jabbed to death early and Klitschko will start landing big after 6th round and force a retirement or TKO . Other than Peter nobody has really gone to distance with Wladimir in the last 5 years or so . This fight with Sultan was a joke , Wladimir didn't want to stop his neighbor from Russia and Sultan didn't want to get stopped anyway even in losing big on scorecards .
Not sure if it will be in Chambers's best interests to take a beating all the way to the final bell if/when Wladimir starts landing big like he did with Chagaev .
