Hey guy's what's up...
Different kind of week for me. We'll see where the chips fall. I took Odlanier Solis (-800) straight up for what I could, along with a parlay with he and Lindsay for the same. Solis at -800 is a gift, as this fight is little more than an exhibition. I also consider Lindsay a very solid favorite. Still long odds here, but I did this to hopefully give myself a little buffer... because I like a slew of dogs.
A medium rare play on each of these guys:
Eddie Chambers I am very intrigued by this fight. Alot of love for Chambers on the forum. My feeling is that he's got a very good chance to pull of what would have to be considered a major upset. Chambers performance against Klitschko prototype Dimitrenkno was exceptional. Now, I know Dimi is not Wlad, but Chambers looked very strong and determined, backing up the giant all night. If he can elevate that performance just a little bit... Coming in at 208lbs was great for him, and he needs to do this again here.
Wlad is very well trained now, but he still fights with caution and is at times mechanical. He fights a little scared, because he knows he's got that chin issue. Wlad hasn't had a meaningful fight in quite a while. I think Chambers has the natural ability and fighter's instinct to make Wlad uncomfortable in there.
Imagine a 208lb Philly fighter knocking off Wlad? At +500 or better, I think Fast Eddie is worth a play.
Travis Walker For precisely the reasons Ghost Kid offered.
Randall Bailey Toss-up fight, so it was nice to see Bailey @+185. I can really envision Bailey landing that jackhammer down the pike. Bonsu has been down and hurt many times. I also think Bailey is the more technically solid guy. Fight on Bonsu's home turf, but I don't think it will matter.
Jamie McDonnell The closer I looked at this fight, the more I like McDonnell. Arnould has beaten no one at all, and worse his record is littered with fraud-type imports. I thought McDonnell lost a close fight to Ian Napa last time out, but this was also a good indicator of McD's ability. I think this fight will give him valuable experience here. UK fighters on a general higher level then French guys. Fight in France could prove controvesial, but at +300 I'll take a shot on McD
And if all that ain't enough, I also went medium rare on the Lindsay-Arthur UNDER 9.5 (+120) Arthur has been iced a couple of times by lesser men. I think Lindsay is a fighter going places. He is punching harder, as KO against hot prospect Appleby indicates. I don't think Arthur has what it takes to hang in there.
All right guy's
Good luck!!!!!!
