Herrera could certainly get banged out early. He's been stopped in every fight he's lost. But he's a dangerous dude and Flores may be content out- boxing him for a while. Flores will not want to go the way of better than he prospect Aaron Williams went.

That's my concern in the fight...that Flores decides to fight safety 1st and be content w/a dec. I expect him to be cautious until he feels comfortable then he should start teeing off in the middle rds. His stock will sink if he doesn't get herrera out of there. I missed the good odds but still considering the under here. I like Flores in about 6.

I here you brother. Worried about that, too.
But Dunne is shite. He is worse than Sidorenko.

yeah, the thought occurred to me(after the fact) that on three different occasions, cordoba fought on the road in meaningful fights and came back without a win...

he may well have won all 3,but,on foreign turf it tales a little more than just squeaking by...

from one of the boxing boards:

Byrd scores a TKO in the 4th round on Vitali-Gomez undercard
Chris Byrd looks stronger as a cruiserweight than he did last time out as a light heavy, that's for sure. Against an opponent with Mathias Sandow's record, however, it is hard to say what he can achieve at the weight. Byrd bossed the first three rounds which featured mostly jabs and the odd left cross by both southpaws before Sandow unloaded in Byrd's corner in the fourth. The crowd responded with a spontaneous outburst of applause, even though Byrd managed to slip and block the majority of punches in Sandow's sustained assault.

Sandow quickly paid the price. Byrd marched him over to his own corner and punished the German with hooks and uppercuts before the referee intervened at 1:30 of Round 4.

Byrd's record is now 41-5-1 (22 KOs) and he is eager to secure a title shot quickly. "I don't need a chain of fights to build up my confidence," he said. "Tomasz Adamek is the man at cruiserweight and I want to fight him as soon as we can get it on."

Adamek!?!?!?!?!!?!?

Gomez to beat Vitali at +600.
I am not buying that Klit is as good as he used to be based on a win over the "Nigerian Nightmore" food.
This should be a better test of Klit's stamina.
Now, I shall say the old Klit is back!!

Good job Klit and Madjackers on the over!!!

As Gomez fights out of Germany they have shown a lot of his fights on TV and IMO this guy is very overrated . His whole career is based on beating ''nobodys'' and washed up fighters like Virchis and Oliver McCall who was like 50 yo last time Gomez UD'ed him . Vitali looks in shape and this spells big trouble for Gomez .

BINGO !
Correct call.

The old assassin was impressive, no doubt.
OK Cordoba-Dunne minutes away. This is a big one here.

A little bit of bad news Romi:
Garcia-Barrera is off for tonight (last minute apparently):

http://elmeridianodecordoba.com.co/...el-11-de-abril&catid=51:principales&Itemid=90

Garcia vs. Barrera, on April 11

Fight was postponed until next April 11, the battle of the Mexican Raul 'glimmer' Garcia, world champion Minimum (105 pounds) of the International Boxing Federation, with the Colombian challenger Ronald "El Indio" Barrera.
The fight should take place today in Guadalajara, Mexico, and although not made public the reasons for the postponement, it appears that the group that manages the monarch requested the date change for 'glimmer' Garcia arrived with a very good preparation, which advances in the Mexican capital.

'El Indio' Barrera, born in Puerto Escondido 26 years ago, works to pace around in the gym of the company in Barranquilla and Quadrangle expected charge revenge for the defeat suffered by the decision to the same opponents in February last year, in a eliminatory lawsuit. Four months after the Mexican was crowned world champion.
"We fought once with Ronald Barrera in the championship round by the Minimum FIB. It is a strong opponent and I think you win again, so we're going to train very hard. With the postponement of almost 15 days, we to train a lot better, "said 'glimmer' Garcia.

Shocker in Ireland!

What a performance by Dunne.
Hope Cordoba is OK. That was brutal stuff.

Like you said Romi - still a very good week.
Flores is HUGE though.
He wins - big week.
He wins under 7.5 - HUGE week.
He loses - not very good at all

Here we go. card starts in 20 minutes.

I need Flores and the under...not huge but will recoup some more of the cordoba loss. I think my parlay with garcia barrera is still alive...the fight is resceduled...wouldnt be too upset if they cancel that portion of the bet. Good Luck! I was going to buy the hybrid card but I'm boxed out at the moment. I'm going to take my daughter out to dinner and hopefully come home to a Flores W...by ko.
