Cruz vs Honorio Likely For Juanma-Salido Undercard

Cruz vs Honorio Likely For Juanma-Salido Undercard

Supefeatherweight Martin Honorio (29-5-1, 15KOs) is the likely replacement to face unbeaten Luis Cruz (17-0, 14KOs) on April 16 at the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Honorio would replace the injured Roman "Rocky" Martinez. Cruz-Honorio would be the Showtime televised co-feature to Juan Manuel Lopez's defense of the WBO featherweight title against former champion Orlando Salido.

"the bunker"
I'm loving Ortiz at +350

I see this fight as closer to a pick'em.

that stuck out to me,too...berto didn`t blow southpaw collazo out of the water...

but it`s a move up in weight for ortiz...and i didn`t like the way he frittered away what looked like a sure win vs peterson...

still,at those odds,it looks like a play from here...

-475/+380 now.....i remember waffling on ortiz at +230.....

berto`s getting pounded....maybe ortiz` loss to maidana coupled with maidana`s struggle with morales?`

We know that they both have ability.
We also know that Ortiz is lacking heart comparing the top guys. Forget Maidana, guy was backing up against light hitting Petterson whom he had all but finished at the beginning of the fight.
I admit + odds looks tempting but I'm on Berto.

I'm on Berto as well. Got him @ a reasonable -344. These are somewhat smaller welters but Berto the more natural stronger 147lber. I like the speed advantage and Berto can box pretty well when he wants to. I thought Quintana might give him a few problems but it was an easy fight. Ortiz can blast some guys out but he hasn't shown the ability to sustain pressure over the course. FFS he was dancing v Peterson in a close fight  I thought he won it but those tactics cost him the W. Not out of the question Ortiz pulls it off but I like Berto here.

well, depending on when and where you shop, the guy is a mid-300/400 fave(-480 as we speak).......that`s prohibitive...he`s expected to win...

i thought that collazo gave berto some trouble...and forbes had a couple moments early....is ortiz gonna be tougher than collazo?...who knows...

i just think that i`ve seen prohibitive faves that i would have felt more comfortable betting than berto over ortiz.... i think there are enough ?? to make it a dicey wager..that`s why i`m probably gonna take a shot at roughly 4-1.....just my opinion...not costing me all that much to find out...

but i`ve been wrong before...

g.l. whatever everybody does...

Berto-Ortiz

Berto-Ortiz

I don't know, but after the utter shock of seeing Kirkland go down from the supposedly shoeshine touches of Ishida, hey, who knows. As Joey Odessa says, have a hunch, bring a bunch. The "donkey" lines, a.k.a., established lines, I say favor dog players, as we all know how the favs get hammered. I don't think Berto is Kirkland in that Berto will not take Victor Ortiz for granted, as I believe Kirk did. For a small weasel flyer, I might donate to the Ortiz cause.
