I think Arreola has about 10 lbs of ink on him. Hope the tattoo jinx doesn't come into play.

Anybody know what time Kess/Froch is going to start on Sat? Do we get a live or taped delayed version on Showtime? Thx!

I like Grahams assessments on both fights. Both are tough picks and I agree with his takes...still no bet on Kess though...yet.

graham "leaning" away from his homie...i know it`s just a lean, but,it speaks volumes about graham`s dedication and pride in his craft...sometimes it`s very hard to go against your peeps...

this is why we ALL read graham...o.k.,enough :00x6

one thing`s for sure...i will not be watching or following this fight in real time...i can`t spare the blood pressure points....

Nice to see you on CA! I have a decent amt on it +120. Odds are moving on him. I think he'll be the clear favorite by fight time. Should be a pretty exciting fight but IMO CA takes over about mid rds. Good luck!

A lot of "close" fights this weekend.

Froch vs Kessler / Adamek vs Arreola / Martin Concepcion vs. Kevin Hammond / Munroe vs Terrazas and some more...

I am BIG (at least to win BIG) on Draws this weekend + Very BIG on Froch vs Kessler fight with various bets, incl. a lot of DCs, Draw, over 8,9,10 Kessler, Kessler by Dec/TD, Kessler by MD ...
Maybe hedge with Froch by late Ko / Dec.

Adamek vs Arreola ... hmmm as my very good friend Zerwas mentioned, if Adamek wins then by Dec... Adamek by Dec is at +275 ... maybe worth a play or for those of you that are on Arreola worth a small hedge.

For Martin Concepcion/Kevin Hammond and Munroe R v Terrazas the over looks good too.

More to come. :0corn

Cheers

interesting stuff from Rafael's chat today on ESPN:

"OK, check this out. Just got a call from my spies at the weigh in for Angulo-Julio and the rest of the undercard. The weigh in was called for noon PT (meaning about 80 minutes ago). Julio is there and on weight, although not allowed to weigh officially until Angulo is also there. However, Angulo hasn't shown up. Word is he's having weight issues. So who knows what's going to happen.

Edit...this just in...

The suggestion from another person at the weigh in is that it may not be weight but rather a contractual issue between Angulo and his promoter, Gary Shaw. The suggestion has been made (and I have no idea if this is what is up, but it's a thought) that the Angulo side is sorta sticking Gary up for more money. We shall see what happens.

Edit

Angulo showed up to the weigh in. They have weighed in and, as my source there says, Julio was 153 1/4 and Angulo was "a sullen" 153 3/4.

keep in mind Rafael is a notorious Julio nuthugger
the guy never lived up to the PROSPECT OF THE YEAR praise that Rafael labeled him with a few years back

so Julio seems to have had a solid camp, and Angulo is definitely having some issues
but to what extent we don't know....this stuff could very well be an exaggeration on Dan's part....we know who he wants to win here

no offense to any rafael buddies, but,i`m not crazy about the guy...unlike graham,he brings too many pre-formed biases to the show....

in my opinion...
